Univen Short Cookware Handle Compatible with Farberware 1, 1.5, 2 & 2.5 Qt. Saucepans, 2.5 Qt. Double Boiler and 7 and 7.5'' Saute Pans

I was given a set of Farberware pots and pans as a wedding gift 40 years ago. The handle on the large frying pan (my favorite) cracked several years ago. We continued to use it because we love the pan however it was difficult. I had tried to find a replacement years ago but they were super expensive. I was so happy to find this. It is inexpensive, fits perfectly, and feels as strong as the original did 40 years ago! There is no screw included so you do need to have your original screw however a trip to Home Depot might solve the problem if you don't.

I was looking for weeks for a good quality non-toxic, non-stick pan of any size to supplement my All Clad pans which really aren't as smooth and tight as they purport to be, despite their cost. Nothing of any quality is around, including enamel. They all get bad reviews, don't last, give off deadly fumes, etc. So, I rummaged around my old pans in a box in storage and found my Farberware pan, given to me by a relative somewhere along the way. Its handle and lid were missing. But, in desperation I tried it for quesadillas and miracle! It was perfect. Despite its not being technically non-stick, that is a magic pan for eggs, omelettes, quesadillas, you name it. Nothing sticks to that pan. So, I needed a handle and a lid and found both. This handle worked perfectly. We added a long screw and voila, it was restored completely. The lid I found was steel rimmed tempered glass. Now I have the perfect egg and cheese pan. I am happy!

The handle on my 2 quart sauce pan was crumbling. This was a perfect replacement handle and took no time at all to install. Looks the same as the original handle and the fit was perfect. Better than buying a new 2 quart sauce pan; this was an excellent value.

A perfect replacement for a cracked handle on my 2 quart Faberware pan. There was no screw provided, but the original on was the right size, so no big deal. It took very little time to unscrew the old handle out and screw the new one in (less than 5 mins.) My only issue is that they filed the edges to remove sharp bits (which is appreciated) but it leaves the parts that were sanded dull while the handle is shiny. Other than that, a perfectly serviceable item that should work for years that was much less than purchasing a new pot. Just be sure to measure to be sure it will fit.

My dad bought me a set of Farberware pots when I moved into my first apartment. He said treat them right and they’ll last a life time. Well after 20 years Ive only had to replace the handle on this one rice pot. It’s a perfect fit and it feels good as new. It didn’t come with a screw, which was fine for me because I just used the one from the old handle. But it might be an issue if you’ve lost the old screw. Much cheaper than a new pot, fits well, price is fine.

The handles fit perfectly with the Farberware sauce pots they were purchased for. This stainless steel pan set was initially purchased as a wedding gift for my parents in 1965 and it fundamentally looks the same after thousands of usages with the exception of the handles needing to be replaced occasionally. I’d given this set to family friends and a few handles were damaged so I bought new ones for them and had them in a gift bag of other kitchen items. It served as a very thoughtful and functional gift!

We are such a throw away nation. This saved me from looking for a new pot and throwing away my old pot. I didn’t want to buy a new pot after using this one for over 35 years. The handle fit perfectly in the slot. I’m very happy with this. Don’t throw away the screw from the handle on your pot you will need it when you replace the handle. It doesn’t come with a new screw.

The handles fit perfectly on to the pots. The screw issue was no buggy. We had the old screw for one of them but not the other. So I looked through a bin of mixed screws i have collected over the years. Compared them to the original from the other and jackpot. Found a perfect match with a lock washer to boot. Worked like a charm.. I cant believe it took me so long to buy these . Pots are as good as new again.. they seem to be more strong and sturdy than I remember.

It's fine, but doesn't fit the pot I needed it for. By the time we got that figured out - and that there isn't a 'work around' to make it fit, it was too late to return it.
