Genial auch die Strukturierung in 2-seitige Kapitel, was den Lernfortschritt bestens unterstützt. Insgesamt hat das Buch Mittelschul-Niveau, aber mit starkem Übungsteil. Ich würde mir dies Buch für alle 7. Schulklassen in diesem Land wünschen und das Risiko, dass dann alle Chemiker werden möchten notfalls in Kauf nehmen.

Keine Lust auf Chemie? Read this book.
Dies Schulbuch führt ins Fach Chemie ein, aber wie! Ungewohnt für hiesige Didaktik nach dem Zergliederungsprinzip stellt es sein Thema mit durchgängigem Bezug auf Nützlichkeit und praktischen Alltag vor. So wird man beim Durchlesen immer neugieriger und gleichzeitig erschließen sich mehr und mehr Zusammenhänge. Genial auch die Strukturierung in 2-seitige Kapitel, was den Lernfortschritt bestens unterstützt. Insgesamt hat das Buch Mittelschul-Niveau, aber mit starkem Übungsteil. Ich würde mir dies Buch für alle 7. Schulklassen in diesem Land wünschen und das Risiko, dass dann alle Chemiker werden möchten notfalls in Kauf nehmen.

Lifesaver for chemistry revision
The AQA GCSE Chemistry Student Book from Oxford is everything I hoped it would be for my revision needs. It’s well-organized and aligns perfectly with the AQA exam specification, making it an ideal companion for focused study sessions. Each chapter is clearly structured, breaking down challenging topics into manageable sections with lots of real-world examples and easy-to-understand explanations. One of the best features is the “check your progress” questions at the end of each section, which help solidify my understanding before moving on. The diagrams and illustrations are incredibly detailed and colorful, bringing abstract concepts to life and making topics like atomic structure, chemical bonding, and organic chemistry much easier to grasp. The online resources that accompany the book are an added bonus, with plenty of quizzes and videos that reinforce what I’ve learned. Overall, this book has made my GCSE chemistry revision much less stressful and even enjoyable.
