Great jig for ice fishing!
I have been using these jigs for years when ice fishing for trout...and the trout really like them! They're a very simple lure to fish...just drop it down and give it a little twitch every few seconds, and that's about it. I've fished them equally successfully tipped with a meal worm or not tipped. The trout tend to take them very subtly, so you have to be watching down your hole to catch them. I've never tried them in open water, but I can say without a doubt that they work well through the ice. I've caught many trout 16+ inches on them, and several over 20 inches and all the way up to 24 inches. This kit comes with a lot of the best colors for trout. Highly recommended!

It was said that the product is LEAD FREE in the description. When I received the item, there was an adhesive sticker says "Lead free" sticked on the label. Then in the label you still have a warning: This product contains LEAD.So this "lead free" needs to be seriously reviewed. I don't trust the product and would not give any star but there is no no-star option. I returned the product.
