Intensive Healing Body Lotion, 15% Lactic Acid, 14.1 oz

WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT!?!?!? No other way to explain how this works. My elbows WERE gray, dry and callous hard. FOR YEEEEEARS I suffered discomfort from the dryness, they always FELT bruised. But after just ONE application, THE DRY IS GONNNNNNNE. GONE. They still feel a little bruised, but they are SMOOOOOVE! And my heels??? THIS IS WHERE THE VOODOO COMES IN. My heels WERE cracked like the freaking desert ground, my bed sheets WERE always covered in white skin flakes, SO GROSS. But, after ONE pump and rub of this on my feet, WWWTTTHHH??? The next morning I just could not believe how they felt. (I can't bend well enough to see the whole bottom of my feet, but they felt AMAZINNNGGGGG. My heels are no longer 'catching' onto my blankets, and no more layers of dry skin flakes on my sheets at the foot of my bed. JUST ONE APPLICATION! HOW????? CRAZY. Anyways, I put it on my face too, and well, I just can't stop looking at myself, smooth and tighter already. I need to get some holy water here in this house, cuz this product is not of this Earth.

5/21 Update: The product is still working very well for me and I use it pretty much daily. It has made such a difference for my feet. Originally purchased 3/21 - I used this lotion 2x a day for about 2 weeks and now I am down to 1x a day or even every other day. My feet were rough and peeling like crazy as they do all the time. I had a Dr prescribe me something years ago that kind of worked on the peeling, but the cost of continued use and the small amount prescribed at a time made it a pain to use. The AmLactin just worked so much better and the size of this bottle will last for a while so the value is much better. I couldn't be happier. It seemed to absorb just fine. The only caution would be that when I was using it 2x a day and put it on at night and then showered in the morning, the bottoms of my feet were very slick getting into the shower for a couple minutes. As the title of my review suggest my feet went from somewhat of an embarrassment to something I have no problem having out in the open. The skin looks so much better and feels so much softer now. I will definitely keep using it. As far as the smell people are reporting, I can smell a slight odor when I apply it, but it's on my feet so the only time I smell it is when I apply it. I wash my hands after applying it so I never smell it again. For me, it's not a strong smell even when applying it. I know others have said it's like cat pee and ammonia and it's real strong. It's a unique smell, I don't own cats so I have no idea if that's the same or not, but again, I don't think it's that strong. Maybe if I had to use it on my arms or something like that I may smell it more and be more self-conscious about it, but the results for me I'm pretty sure I'd still use it either way.

This lotion works really well for extremely dry skin. It can tingle a little when you first apply it (especially if your skin is very dry or freshly shaved), but that’s normal with lactic acid. The feeling goes away quickly, and it lets you know it’s working. It leaves my legs and body feeling very smooth and deeply moisturized. The combination of lactic acid and ceramides really helps improve skin texture over time without needing a separate scrub. My skin feels softer and more protected throughout the day. It absorbs well and doesn’t feel overly greasy, and the moisture lasts a long time. A small amount goes a long way, so the bottle should last. There isn’t really a taste factor since it’s a body lotion, but I recommend washing your hands after applying like with any skincare product. Overall, this is a great moisturizer for dry, rough skin and definitely makes your legs and body feel much better with consistent use.

Helped a lot with healing after my chemical peel. My skin was less dry and flaky. I can see my dark spots fading slowly with daily use. It absorbs quick and doesn’t feel sticky. Only 4 stars because the scent is a bit strong at first, but it works.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Yes, I Know It's Body Lotion. Yes, I Put It on My Face. Mind Your Business! 😂🤣** Listen, I'm at the age where I'm not trying to age gracefully. I'm trying to put up a fight! 😂 And this AmLactin 15% Lactic Acid lotion has earned a spot in my skincare routine! Now, before the skincare police come for me, YES, I know the bottle says body lotion. But I use it on my FACE, and I'm loving the results! My skin feels incredibly soft and smooth, and I love how much better the texture looks. I'm all about finding products that actually do something instead of just sitting on my bathroom counter looking expensive. 🤣 The 15% lactic acid is no joke, so this isn't something I'd recommend slathering on your face without knowing how your skin handles exfoliating products. But for me, it's been a great addition to my routine! I'm 3 years into my weight loss journey, almost 200 pounds lighter, and doing everything I can to take care of the skin I'm living in now. Getting older is inevitable, but that doesn't mean I have to cooperate with the process! 😂 And if a reasonably priced bottle of lotion can help me keep my skin looking good, I'm certainly not going to argue with it. My wrinkles and I are currently in negotiations, and I fully intend to win! 🤣😂

Excellent product for rough feet. Using this once a day has helped tremendously. Very easy to apply, no strong scent. Great value for the money. I recommend this for callused feet, you won't be sorry.

The Amlactin Intensive Healing Lotion is a lifesaver for dry skin. It absorbs quickly, leaves my skin smooth, and actually helps with texture over time. It’s become a daily staple. Not gonna lie it has a strange odor at the beginning but worth it for the discoloration on my thighs!

Not a fan of the smell which does linger after application. I can’t tell if it works or not because the bottle is small. Probably not worth the price for the amount of product.

Inmiddels gebruik ik deze lotion ruim een week nu voor mijn door de jaren heen beschadigde, schilferige, droge en vooral dunne huid. Zoals ik al las staat deze lotion bekend om weer volume terug te kunnen brengen in de huid. Het hydraterende van deze lotion werkt vanaf dag één, en dit tweede effect wacht ik de komende tijd af. Twee flessen is prima om het lang genoeg te proberen in ieder geval. De lotion is mild, zowel in het gezicht als op het lichaam, trekt compleet in in een redelijke tijd en gemakkelijk te gebruiken.

Only problem is the smell!

Consistency is key when using KP creams. I've found that applying it regularly, usually once or twice a day, yields the best results. Over time, I've noticed a reduction in redness and a significant decrease in the number of bumps. While it may not completely eliminate the condition, it certainly makes it much less noticeable.

I've always had KP on the back of both my arms since I was little that only got more prominent as I grew older. I have tried so many alleged cures, ingredients and products for over 25 years since I was 11. Ammonium lactate products are by far the most effective treatment for *my* KP (compared to urea, salicylic acid, glycolic acid and others that are touted as cure for KP). Unfortunately, Amlactin is the only brand I have found to make the most effective, if not the only, ammonium lactate products. And the brand is only formally distributed in the US, making it pricey to purchase outside the US. However, this is, by far, the only product that not only smooth out the bumps, but also reduces the looks of the darkened spots the bumps left behind. It does have a distinctive smell (acidic earthy scent) that dissipates overtime (and not overpowering) but I'd take that any time for my extremely smooth skin.
