I still remember taking this book from the public library when I was in my high school. Though, I liked the story, I don't think, I did enjoy reading it as I much as I do now. Perhaps, I was not that intelligent to understand the difficulty of creating such a huge plot and a vibrant set characters. Mukandan's story about mayyazhi is incredible. Every character has a different background story, yet, everything blends each other so well. It is one of those stories that will captivate you for hours and would leave you for a forever contemplation. That means, once you pick this up, you become addicted to it.

Excellent work
Mayyazhippuzhayude Theerangalil written by M Mukundan is an excellent work of work of fiction. Must read book in Malayalam. Go for it.

The content of the book is very valuable. But the paper quality is not satisfactory, hence it is an asset for my children and grandchildren.

Beautiful illustration
Fact with fiction at its best , looking into the past made at such ease in this book . Mahé is still different to other parts of Kerala ant that’s what makes this Novel peculiar .

This is very beautiful book to read. However this version has many spelling mistakes. Overall to all this is best Malayalam book I have read so far.
