The product is excellent so I give a five star. Shipping leaves little to praise. Typical for USPS. I bought a new computer and needed an extension cable to connect the power for a second hard drive. I ordered this on Thursday with two-day Prime shipping. Expected delivery was Saturday. Saturday evening I was informed, "Sorry, no can do." Shipment delayed. I didn't receive it until the following Tuesday.

These SATA power extension cables worked perfectly for me. The length fit my use case.

The extension cables worked really well! I have a Corsair Obsidian 450D case and have two of my SSD's mounted in the slots on the right/backside of panel the motherboard attaches to. The power supply I have (EVGA g6 650W) has the wires going through the SATA connectors at a right angle, rather than directly into the back of the connector like my EVGA G3 650 W SATA connectors had (why PSU manufacturers changed this design makes no sense). Due to this, I was not able to comfortably connect the G6 SATA power connectors to my SSD's without the wires being very pinched, so I was able to find these extension cables so that I could use the G6 SATA power cables and they worked perfectly! Note: When using an extension, only use one for end that plugs into the SATA drive, not an extension that plugs into the PSU side (6 pin connector I believe) as unfortunately the internals of PSU's are not all manufactured the same. Eventually I plan to replace all my SATA SSD's with NVME drives and then I won't have to worry about power cables for them. Until that day comes though, these will suffice.

The SATA power extension cables are really handy when installing an optional card (USB3 expander in this case) on the PC motherboard that needs power via a SATA connector. The cable was the perfect length for a neat installation. These extension cables likely have other applications, and are of very good quality.

These cables will help you hide your HDDs and SSDs. Tested all 3 and they work, i only use 2 of them so the 3rd is a backup.

Good bang for your buck if you need just a few more inches for your sata power to reach your device. I only needed the one but having two extra was nice.

My low profile PC has a single SATA power cable with two connections, and they're designed to connect to HDD or SSD. I needed to connect power to a PCIe card, but the cable wouldn't reach. This extension cable saved the day!
