Badger Balm, Sore Muscle Rub - 2 oz

This is my GO-TO for all my MUSCLE ACHES! I first came across this muscle rub in a Sprout’s store on a night after a long day at a convention. After being in high heels all day, my feet and my calves were hurting like no other. When I first put it on, I was surprised that there wasn’t the usual “SPICY”, cooling feeling that most muscle rubs give you. I instantly doubted whether it would work and started regretting my purchase, as this is definitely a more expensive option compared to your standard muscle rubs. However, after about ten-ish minutes I realized that I NO LONGER FELT my throbbing feet and the tightness in my calves! The aches were GONE! I’ve used this muscle rub almost nightly since then! I love that I can trust the ingredients, not feel bad about applying it on my body, plus I’m a fan of the GINGERY scent!

Ordered the 2 pack so my son and I could try this. Son has neuropathy pain in his feet and he said this is working great for that. He has tried at least 5 other products that did not work for him. I have been using on a sore knee at night when I go to bed and it has helped me get a good nights rest and less pain in the morning when I get up. Use during the day too if going to be doing a lot of walking. Will definitely be buying this again for both of us. Haven’t seen my son grimace in pain for over a week now due to the pain in his feet he was having every day. Thank you Badger for this product!!

Does the job. Just be careful to wash your hands when you are done and before getting near your eyes.

I got this because I can’t use icy hot or any other menthol patches due to an allergic reaction, no matter how little I use, my ENTIRE body will turn lobster red because of the menthol. this was recommended as an alternative. It works great! It soothes without the burning feeling, the smell isn’t overpowering and I don’t turn into a walking blister!

OK, I should’ve listened to a few naysayers who said this doesn’t work at all, because it doesn’t it doesn’t do anything. the smell is wonderful but there is no effect no no cooling no heat no no relief of any pain or soreness

I’ve come to love everything from Badger, and this sore muscle rub is no exception. The fact that it’s organic and made with all-natural ingredients makes me feel good about using it on my skin. I work a very physically demanding job, and by the end of the day my muscles are usually sore and tense. After a hot shower, I apply this to the areas that need relief, and within minutes I feel the soothing warmth start to work. On especially tough days, I’ll layer a heating pad over it, which makes the effect even more comforting. I even used it on a pulled calf muscle, and while it didn’t magically cure the injury, it noticeably eased the pain and soreness, making recovery much more manageable. If you’re looking for a natural, effective way to soothe sore muscles after workouts or long days of work, I highly recommend keeping this in your cabinet. It’s a staple for me now.

Currently suffering sore neck and shoulders and can't drive etc. In trying anything for relief I've used a massage mat, ibuprofen gel, infrared gadget, wheatbag, gentle exercise and a massage ball but got a big surprize when I found this actually soothed my aches! I bought it because of the other reviewers good comments and it was delivered quickly which was a boon. Its something I'm going to continue to use. There's a kind of sensation on the skin after massaging it in and it has a really nice smell too. So many of these muscle treatments make you smell like a horse blanket but this one is rather nice :)

I have a chronic problem with an area between my middle lower back and my hip. Walking any distance aggravates it. I am sore and achy, in a very localised spot. I've been through physio, and I do specific exercises which are supposed to help ... but don't. I have no idea why this works, but it does. I suspect the cayenne in the rub stimulates blood flow, which in turn eases the pain. This particular rub isn't a cure-all. I have problems with arthritis in my hands, and the sore muscle rub doesn't help that. However, Badger has a cooling rub that does.

El paquete llegó en la fecha prevista y perfectamente envuelto. El bálsamo es perfecto para calentar los músculos y aliviarlos cuando están tensos (lo uso para la espalda). Aunque no da efecto calor, se nota más caliente y confortable la zona donde se masajea. El único pero es su pequeño tamaño, pero la relación calidad-precio está bien.
