Summary until i get a power cord: Overall the console is very clean, and packaged nicely with no damage done to the console or controller. Slight signs of wear on the console and controller, but only if you are looking for them and a reason to be upset. I will update again once the package arrives.Update 9/23/23Power cord and games arrived on the 19th, and I have given the console a few days to analyze the performance and such. As expected the power cord that was finally sent to me works perfectly, the games look to be in good condition although they are not really games I would play. No matter, I appreciate the seller for compensation for the issues and will likely try the games sometime soon since I have them, no point in wasting them.Performance wise, the console has a few lag spikes when playing god of war 2018, but I counted 2 in the 4 days I have been playing. As my friends warned me about, the ps4 fan is extremely loud, but I have noise canceling headphones for that. On the topic of headphones, the audio cuts out sometimes when useing the aux port on the controller, it hasn't the few times I was just using my TV speakers. It's not often enough or long enough to impact my game at all, just something to note. Overall, 9/10 experience, probably should have gone with the ps4 pro, but its alright.

I bought this for my daughter for christmas. Its in good shape as far as we can tell, but when it's turned on, the system does not recognize the controller. We tried different controllers we know works on our other PS4 and nothing. Plugged in the paddle to the ports on the front and it doesn't work. Does not light up the paddle at all. This is so frustrating. Im returning this and going with a different provider.**** Update. 3/2/2025**** Took it to a repair shop. This PS4 has a bad motherboard, and the paddle is just a shell. There is no working parts in it at all. I lost money on this and the seller isn't even doing anything about it. It had layers of dirt and grime in the fan system and a corrupted hard drive. This seller needs to be removed from Amazon. This is just bad business. CDR repair said this seller has to have known they were selling bad systems.

No scratch at all...takes long to download games but plays without any prob...no sticking up...everything works great...

The PS4 arrived in great condition but a few slight issues with it turning off randomly but other then that it works great. No loud noises runs a little warm but other than that perfect condition.

First off, I'm not much of a gamer at all...but I took a chance on a renewed PlayStation 4 slim system. I've been nothing but impressed!!!! Especially since I'm not a gamer although I've spent almost 300$ on games between Amazon and another site. Some ppl was saying the slim was slow. Well all I play are racing games and pinball games ( I'm old!!! ) and was playing Atari when you prob weren't around!!!! which is good for you cuz your young!!! lol... the system I heard gets hot...mine does not. Some had said I believe It sounds like a jet engine....I got lucky you can't even hear mine playing!!! So if I get a year or hopefully more out of this for the 150$ I spent... it was way worth it. Although it would hurt because of the bills I've spent on games. I can see why PS5'S don't seem to be flying off the shelves. I have a 4k tv mid-level Samsung and the graphics are unreal. I would recommend especially if your torn on getting a PS5 . BTW does it get a little warm??? of course it does but my modem is warmer so that tells you how worried I am about it and it's very quiet. GRAB ONE!!!! you can always return it I believe they give you at least 30 days to return but of course double check.

I would definitely recommend this company to buy from, the person that I've spoke with was very professional and solved my issue with no hesitation. They were fast at responding they never gave me a hassle and took care of business in a timely manner. Would give more stars but can only give 5.

Overall, it was pretty good, there’s some minor complaints that I’m going to state in this review, one big thing is that it came a week and a half after I ordered it, pretty big time lap, considering I only live two states away from where it’s being shipped, But when it came, I was really excited, open the box, all the wires were included, so that was a big step up from what I saw from other reviewers, the system itself was great, works great, and has been going great since I ordered it, but my biggest complaint, is the controller, first off, it was red, Not really what I expected, but also not really that bad, because I like the color red, but it had huge scratches and scuffs on it, the back panel was basically half off, and the left joystick is basically unusable, feels like there’s a huge rock in there, and I made sure, and I opened it up, and there is no rock or any debris or dirt in there, it’s just really messed up, so I can’t even use the system until I buy a new controller, which costs upwards of $60, But other than that I’d say it’s a pretty good purchase other than rolling the dice on getting a bad controller like I did.
