Cooking Tagine Moroccan Clay Pot Extra Large

Excellent product and well made, although I would have preferred it if the indentation at the top of the lid, where it looks like a hole has been drilled, actually was a hole, this would prevent having to remove the lid for certain dished to allow some liquid to reduce. I bought it specifically to use on my Big Green Egg so as to get the wood flavor of the fire into the dish and it fits perfectly.

I love cooking in this tangine cooker. In addition to providing delicious meals it is also a beautiful piece of pottery.

OMG, I love it! This is my third tagine, and every time i think of a tagine I'm tempted to buy another one. It's huge, so when I can get all the ingredients to make something, I'll start using it.

I followed the instructions and it cracked after 1 use.

I love this Tagine. It was rated X -large. I think it's more like large. But I like it's more Rustic & authentic look and feel. I had a large more polished Emile Henri Tagine...who I broke. Ouch! This one Looks just terrific when serving the dinner.

I was so excited about my tagine and couldn't wait to use it and cook wonderful meals. I used it once a week or twice a week every couple of weeks. Less than four months after I purchased my item, those plans came to a crashing halt! I purchased this item in January 2012 and took all the precautions like seasoning, cooking on low temperatures and washing by hand (which I researched, as the tagine did not come with specified instructions). I contacted the seller about a replacement in May and was told that I can possibly get a discounted base, as there is no warranty on the item. However, this has not come to fruition yet as the seller has not recently been available to confirm this discount. I will most likely have to get this repaired myself or purchase a brand new one. First I'd like to say my tagine arrived after a day of ordering..was totally side blinded by that. Excellent job for that shipper! Second this is for other potentially buyers. This item was glazed...... Under the question and answer section the person said it was not. That's why I purchased it. I didn't want a glazed tagine. After inspection I noticed a white matter under the first layer. Not sure if it is ceramic coated with clay. Again I'm not sure. Otherwise this is an awesome size tagine and beautifully made cant wait to use it. Besides it being cookware it's a gorgeous piece of decor as well.

Bought this for my son, who is a master chef and he loves it! Especially with the add on piece which allows for cooking on the top burner of the stove! ☆☆☆☆☆
