Found Another Use: Service Dog Vest
I wanted to share this with you as this may have not been something that your company thought that the vest could be utilized in such a way. Sure, it's meant for pulling, but you may not have thought of it working as a Service Dog's vest. A few years ago I was diagnosed with a rare neurological disease that has now progressed to the point that I can no longer walk and often need assistance to propel myself. Because I knew the challenges that I would be facing, I got a German Short-Haired Pointer to be my Service dog. As things have progressed, he has had to acquire new skills in order to perform the tasks that I need assistance with. He now assists me in getting around in my wheelchair and I wanted to commend you on a great product. The design is great, the material is very durable, it is comfortable and breathes well. I made a couple of modifications to it, I hope you don't mind, but it was necessary. I've attached a couple of pictures for you to see "us in action." And, if I may, I do have a couple of thoughts about how to taper the vest to his body more and would be willing to talk about my ideas with you if you so desired to start a "Service Vest" line. Thank you so much!

Great Investment
Nicer than you would think for the price. Very sturdy and well made. The medium fits my average size Border Collie perfectly. Update: I have used this over a year now for bikejoring and it still works great. No broken hardware or anything. I still really like it. Update: 2 years later and still going strong. My Border Collie still gets excited everytime she sees her harness, even though it's a 3 to 7 day a week thing. Her love and drive for pulling me on my bike has not faded. The harness must be comfortable for her.

I tend to import my gear from Norway and Europe considering the joring sports are just starting to gain attraction in the states
The Canine Equipment Ultimate Pulling Harness is rcpets step in the right direction towards us having proper and high quality, multi-purpose, sled dog gear for any dog pulling sport. I own two dogs who I bike with and have been training for joring sports and it withstands the abuse my 40 lb 1 year old Siberian Husky-Dutch Shepherd cross and 75 lb 2 year old Akita-GSD-Shar-pei cross put it through. I tend to import my gear from Norway and Europe considering the joring sports are just starting to gain attraction in the states and its better than standard. The padding and side rings allow my Siberian to pull and run with all her might during biking and she doesn't feel sore at all after training. However the bottom straps need padding as the nylon cuts into the arm pits of my larger dog, mainly because she has a wider chest, now that might change if I had gotten the large but I prefer padding on every part of the harness. One thing I worry about with the design is that it may inhibit shoulder movement, if you look at a harness like the Non-Stop Dogwear Line harness or Shoulder Pull it is designed to maximize that, the way this is designed not as much since its covering the shoulders but I could be wrong. Overall this a great harness that isn't the standard nylon x-back with padding for joring. I hope in the future RCPets continue designing more joring gear to compete with overseas since its so hard to acquire here in the US! And I gotta mention the side rings, they are a savior in biking my dogs so the harness doesn't rotate as we bike the trails.

She is built like a whippet and I wasn't sure of the size
After reading other reviews I decided on this harness for rollerblading with my 30lb mixed breed dog. She is built like a whippet and I wasn't sure of the size. I went with a small and it fits with room a little room to spare. It doesn't rub on her shoulder joint or back. She is a little weary of things going over her head though. I just treated her through the process and it worked out great. I think it is very user friendly. I would buy it again.

I use it multiple times a week and he pulls me around on my bike just like the picture that comes on the package
I use a medium harness on a 60 lbs german shorthaired pointer and it just barely fits him. My german shorthaired pointer is on the small side for his breed and I would suggest a large if you have the same dog that I do and it weights more that 60 lbs. I use it multiple times a week and he pulls me around on my bike just like the picture that comes on the package. The harness works flawlessly for joring with a mountain bike. The d rings are metal and very strong with mine. I have seen other reviews saying they are plastic but mine are not. This is a great product by canine equipment and I will be getting another when i get my second dog.

Major!, major!, major! malfunction...
I have a 50 pound Siberian Husky I bought the medium size harness and it fits perfectly, the harness itself seems to be nice and sturdy well made but it has a major major major malfunction... I ended up mounting three independent leashes one for each steel loop as I started to have her pull me on my bike I noticed that I needed to make some adjustments so I stopped then I made sure that the harness was snug but not too tight to restrict her breathing, as I got back onto my bike to start again with the run my dog decided backup because something startled her, as she backed up it caused the three straps to go over the harness and pull it over her head and she came out of her harness completely!! It took me a half an hour to try to catcher her as she was running in traffic, I ended up injuring myself trying to dive after her but thank god nothing happened to her. I believe this harness needs another under the belly strap of some sort or a safety type of upgrade so this does not happen to any other dog. I will be trying to come up with an idea on how to do that myself but for now I will have to keep her collar on and somehow connect the collar to the harness as an extra safety precaution.

Love this! Great quality
Love this! Great quality. Got it for bike joring. He runs next to the bike and train king for pulling but very said to get a best meant for pulling. He loves this unlike the numerous other harnesses i tried. *Update a year later still working great... I have him pull me up hills using this harness as well as use it for his carpet mill (doggie treadmill) which the video of that can be seen on my you tube channel be still 46 10 ... As an engineer with a very large dog that has to pull me and is also used for him to pull my bike ... best harness I have tried. I am planning to add a few more mods so I can have him carry a few things with this but one of his dog treat bags has a clip that clips right on the side so I can have him carry that and a bottle of water as shown in the picture.

Good so far with some customization
My dog pulls me on the bike 5 mornings a week, anywhere from 1.5 miles in the summer to 4 miles in cooler seasons. I was using his nosework harness, which worked well, but wanted something that was designed for pulling sports and separate from his "working" harness. My dog is 60 lb, boxer x German shorthair, and measures 29" at the girth. I ordered a medium, and it fits with the clips fully extended. Overall I like the design and fit. Having a side ring was a must for me since my dog runs next to me (in an urban area in the dark with cats to chase and cars to share the road with, him being in front is way too unsafe for my taste). I did make an alteration to that effect: I attached paracord loops to the side ring and the top fabric where the ring is attached. I run an EzyDog Cujo leash through both loops and clip it back on itself, making it short enough that my dog is behind the front wheel. I also made some fleece tubes to cover the nylon straps because it does come pretty close to the armpit (I do wish the chest to girth strap was an inch or 2 longer), and I don't want it to rub his almost non-existent underside hair.
