I cannot say enough about the wallet! To start the quality is excellent, feels great, looks awesome, and is made with high quality materials. I purchased this wallet along with a ridge wallet. While I like the ridge it was scraping the ink off my credit card along with scraping the paint, also I found it very difficult to select the proper card if more than two were inside it. I have had neither of those issues with this wallet. Another thing I love is that there is a pocket that is great for an ID and insurance card, it's easy access and you can see what is in it. The back side holds my credit cards and debit cards very well. While the back can be a bit tough to get used to, the bottom cut out makes it relatively easy. I must say while it cannot hold more than 7ish cards, it's really a negative that can be turned into a positive, I purchased this to try and eliminate my giant leather wallet and this forces you to rid of unnecessary cards that you use no more than once a year maybe. To conclude this thing is awesome! The quality is great, the style is fabulous and you really get what you pay for. My only flaw is that cash can be a bit loose if there are only two or three cards that are in it, also I wish they included a second band just in case the one it comes with breaks, but the band is very strong and unless you take a knife to it, I do not foresee it breaking any time soon. Overall if you are thinking about buying it but are unsure if it is worth the price; just know you get what you pay for, this wallet is no exception.

I really like this wallet! Very compact, well-machined and finished. I viewed several videos and read many reviews before taking the plunge and purchasing as I have 7 cards that I must carry at all times. Of course, the biggest concern is the number of cards you can put into the back of the unit and the plate stay flush. In my case, that number is 4. The problem for many will be the number of cards with raised numbers on them....those cards will cause problems with the number you can fit into this wallet. When I insert my credit cards with the numbers at the bottom, the plate is not flush. The workaround is to simply flip the cards 180 degrees so that the numbers are at the top...the plate is now flush at the bottom and the cards are secure. I have 2 credit cards with embossed numbers and two flat licenses in the rear and the plate is flush at the bottom and slightly uneven at the top. Works perfectly, though. For the front, I have two more flat cards and my debit card with embossed numbers. Of course, all three will not fit in the leather sleeve, but there's a workaround for that, too. The debit card is the most used, so it goes into the sleeve by itself. There is also a space between the back of the sleeve and the aluminum frame that will actually hold two flat cards! I put my Costco card and my medical insurance card in there since they are less often used. With those three installed, the fit is still tight, but I'm hoping that the front leather pouch will loosen a bit with me pulling my debit card out often. The silicone band seems slightly loose with one cash note inserted, even with all of the cards in, but it still works. I'd recommend this wallet for those with less than 7 cards and fewer than 3 embossed cards. My recommendation for the manufacturer is to thicken the frame a little so that it can accommodate a couple more cards (especially embossed ones), and somehow attach the rear plate without the need for the sillicone band to secure it. Maybe add a clip on the back for cash. Otherwise, excellent minimalistic wallet that is eye-catching!

Well, after using my Fedelo minimalist wallet for roughly around three years, the money clip started to come off. Wouldn't you know it once this happened a few times, the last being I lost $150 as the clip partway came off. You can see my old wallet in the included pictures. Don't get me wrong, the wallet was great and served me very for the time I had it and was very convenient but after you lose $150 I thought it was definitely time for a replacement. I looked at hundreds of different wallets for a replacement and Dango would always pop up in an ad down below the wallet I was presently looking at and although I never looked at one I told myself they were too expensive and they didn't look that good. I ultimately decided on an Ekster wallet and it was priced at $89 I thought it was decent enough that I would probably like it. There were a lot of others too that I had in my list to get, even ones that were less than half the price of the Ekster wallet. Then I was looking at another wallet and an ad for the Dango Dapper wallet popped up and I hadn't seen this ad before so I decided to click on it and boy am I glad I did, this wallet looked fantastic and I actually liked it and the price. I decided that I would take a chance and buy it and I'm really glad I did, this wallet is fantastic for a minimalist wallet. It's not quite as thin as my Fidelo wallet but it's not as thick as say a billfold wallet either so in a sense it is a minimalist wallet no matter how you sum it up to be. It came with instructions but just looking at it you automatically just know how everything goes. It has a place for everything I needed and instead of dealing with a money that could fail on me I have a money strap that is far less likely to fail on me. All in all the wallet is great and you won't be disappointed once you have it in hand. Take a chance and buy one.

Just got this in the mail on Friday January 6th, 2023. I ordered it on January 4th. See the video and all the pics I've posted. Being made in the USA was a plus for me. I get weary of everything we buy being made in China so I wanted to go USA! I was pleasantly surprised that it came in a nice metal case ( I must have missed seeing that in the ad photos when I bought it ). I like that it's unique. It's something different than your run of the mill leather wallet. It has a good look to it but the leather, while nice, is a more thin than I hoped and probably isn't very high grade leather. I'm sure if the leather was thicker it may add to the bulk and cost of the wallet so I get it. Perhaps they could entertain making a version with higher quality leather for those willing to spend the extra money. This one is still acceptable for the $79 I paid for it. The green color that I chose is a bit more sheen than I thought it'd be. Again, still acceptable. It looks like single stitch stitching on the leather and then on one side they put 11 small nice looking allen head screws that adds a bit of a quality look to it. I was able to get 10 cards akin to a typical sized and thickness credit card in it. I was also able to get 6 thin cards in it. I also got my drivers license in it. So a total of 17 cards. That's a lot of cards. I was surprised it could hold it all but I definitely have it maxed out. With that many in it the leather is stretching just a bit. I could also get some cash in the rubber holder strap. There are two card pockets on the outside and one on the inside. Those will hold maybe 2 to 4 cards depending on the thickness of your card. Then on the inside it has a permanent metal piece and then one removable metal divider that goes under the strap that says "Dango Product / Designed in California, USA." So the dividers are metal and good quality. You put the cards in front of the permanent metal piece and then once you put in the cards you want you put in the removable metal piece under the leather band to hold them all in. The rubber strap that goes around the wallet does seem to be removable with a little effort. If it were to wear out and break it looks like you could replace it or even use your own rubber band as a replacement. The band is needed to hold in the removable metal divider that is used to hold in the bulk of the cards. All things considered I'm a solid 4 out of 5 on this wallet in consideration of the price point and I'm pretty picky about getting quality items. Had the leather been a little thicker I'd give it a 5. If you wanted something that was even better quality than this you'd probably have to spend quite a bit more than what we spent on this one. So for the money it's a good buy that I think you'll be pleased with unless you want to spend the money to get something even better. As a man I can tell you it would make a cool gift for the man in your life unless you're buying it for someone who wants something that's super high end and you have money to burn. The wallet is made out of aluminum, with black genuine top grain leather on the other side of the wallet, and uses a thick silicone band and stainless steel screws to hold it all together. I upgraded mine to the longer one with a belt loop clasp that Dango offers so I will never lose my wallet again! It even has a notch on one side that is used as a bottle opener. The D01 wallet can hold up to 12 cards at a time on the aluminum side, and another 3 cards on the leather side, for 15 cards total. It also has RFID blocking, keeping your info hacker free. The silicone strap also will hold done any cash quite securely so that you have everything you need in this sleek, slim styled minimalist EDC wallet. Weighing in just above 2 ounces and costly a fair $69, with the ability to add on accessories and custom your wallet down the road is just awesome. This is truly a unique and impressive wallet overall, and I recommend checking one out if your tired of your old, worn wallet that you have now, you might even thank me for it!

A few years back I switched over to a “minimalist wallet”. After several months I noticed my cards and ID’s would be bent due to the lack of material supporting them. A friend of mine recommended Dango Wallets to me to fix the issue. It’s a small, sleek minimalist wallet that is partially made of aluminum. The leather is soft, durable and holds several cards. The aluminum body holds my ID’s and primary debit card. No bending or tearing of cards and it carries well in the pocket for being metal and leather. Extremely light due to the aluminum as well. Silicon money band allows easy assess to cash. I purchased the bifold version of this wallet because I needed the extra pockets and I like the quick access slot on the back of the aluminum body. That being said there’s another exterior pouch that I don’t use at all. All materials are extremely well made. Only reason you’ll need to buy another one of these wallets would be if you lost it or just wanted a different color. It’s truly built to last a lifetime. I highly recommend this item for anyone looking for an awesome minimalist wallet. Worth the money!

I'd been wanting one of these for over a year. I did a lot of research and read tons of comparisons of this model to others and other brands. The overall consensus is that this wallet is fabulous. However, I knew within 5 minutes it was not the wallet for me. Many classify this as a minimalist EDC wallet; however, for me that means the wallet should be lightweight. It is not. It's quite heavy...much more so than I expected. It appears to be well crafted and for that reason, I can't knock the wallet. I think many users will enjoy it. And while initially the weight of the wallet made me feel less inclined to keep it, that's not the only reason I'm not a fan. Both here on Amazon as well as the product site, the wallet boasts the ability to hold up to 12 cards. I do not find that to be within the realm of reality. I inserted 3 credit cards, a library card, and a metro card and at this point, the RFID backplate is completely separated from the rest of the wallet. The attempted removal of a card from this stack results in the backplate coming completely free of the wallet/mechanism. Once I added my two ID cards to the leather portion of the wallet, I found the mechanics completely useless. Ultimately disappointed. But again, I think this wallet will be great for folks that only need to carry a card or two...but for me, this was unable to meet my needs and relpace my current leather card wallet.

To be honest, I wasn't a fan of the idea of spending $69.00 on a wallet but I hated the wallet I was currently using. So, I decided to search Amazon for a replacement. Due to a spine injury in 2012, carrying a wallet in my back pocket is extremely painful and I converted to carrying my wallets in my front pockets. My son got me a new one this past Christmas and after using it for a while, the design sucked for me and I decided to search Amazon for a replacement. After much searching, I decided on this on. Even though I wasn't a fan of spending $69.00 but I was desperate to replace the current one I was using. I've been using it for just over a month and I love it. It carries more cards than my past ones did and still takes up less space in my pocket. Unlike like my last one, it's easy to retrieve my cards. There's a pocket for quick access that holds two cards and it makes a world of difference. No more long fights to get my credit card out while checking out at a store. Then there's another area that holds all your other cards. This tray area is still easy to get your cards from and has plenty of space to hold all my other random cards. Even though it's easy to retrieve your cards, the wallet still keeps everything safe and secure. I've dropped my wallet a number of times and none of the cards came out. I normally like my wallets to have an actual money clip attached and wasn't sure if I'd like the band style of keeping my money secure but I can live with it. It does keep my money in one place and I'm guessing the lack of a money clip is one reason why I have a little more room in my pocket. If you're looking for a minimal type wallet, I think this is one of the best ones you can find. It's worth every penny i spent on it.

The wallet came with a missing screw. I love the design of this wallet but judging by the missing screw I just worried how long this wallet can last with my everyday usage going in and out of my front pocket.

I needed a bigger front pocket wallet for my cards and cash so got this after checking for recommendations. I have it for 6 months now and it has very little wear and tear, feels comfortable and easy to use. The best wallet I had until now. The high price is well earned by its quality and sturdiness. Not too tactical look as I was afraid.

The leather and stitching is holding up well in my back pocket daily for 4 months. I can fit 4 cards comfortably in the aluminum frame and each of the three other pockets can hold two cards each if needed. No complaints.

Shipped out right away. Got it before the expected delivery date. Great quality leather and seriously strong frame. Its light weight and works for all functions (formal or everyday use) Best purchase I've made in a while. Even got to speak to some of the owners at one point. This company is seriously customer service oriented. Been using this for a few weeks now and its so user friendly. I've tried some other wallets of this type and they are hard to use and causes you to fumble with the cards when removing or re-inserting. This one makes it so easy to remove and re-insert. Every time I pull out my wallet people ask about it and say how cool it is. I would recommend this to any guy who is trying to reduce pocket bulk!

Can't recommend it enough. Slim profile, solid feel. Perfect armour for my cards. I slide a Levergear toolcard in it too, my pocket is delirious with joy when I slide this baby in it ;)
