Works perfect
Exact fit and works perfect to replace the old stem that someone used a grip-type handle on it that ground down the stem until a handle won't stay on the stem and worn't work at all with the original handles.

Perfect fit
Perfect fit for old Crane bathtub fixture. I was looking to just re-pack the original stems, but the washer sets were hard to find. When I did finally source them, they were more expensive than these stems.

Old crane sink refurbishment
Found on Amazon, fit like a glove. Only issue was that I had to add Teflon tape (7 wraps) to seal threads from leakage then it worked great no leaks, like a new one...

Great replacement but
Chose to keep the old one in, because the hot line had the leak, which the hot version of this one fixed, but, it didn’t come with the nylon star bushing for the handle attachment and in typical china fashion the brass star fitting and the screw threads are not to spec - so I now have one handle that constantly works loose. At least it doesn’t leak…

H&C valves - Missing and Incorrect Gasket Parts
1950's Crane tub valve replacement. I purchased hot and cold Crane/Danco replacement valves 5A-1C & 5A-1H. One package had been previously opened and the gasket collar ring was missing and the other package had the gasket ring, but it was too large. After two trips to the hardware store, I ended up with two #15 Danco o-rings to replace the missing and the oversize ring. After that, the hot and cold valves worked fine. So far, no drips.

Exactly as advertised. Definitely recommend and would purchase from this supplier again if needed. Perfect fit on a 1974 system.
