This product works great for almost immediate relief from adult flea infestation. I have several cats and they are all indoor cats. However, during the summer, sometimes one or two of them get out while we are grilling on the deck. They never venture far and come back as soon as they are called. Unfortunately they came home with unwanted guests. This product addresses that need quickly. Now for those that live in a multi-cat home, a flea infestation can happen quickly and what starts as a few fleas on one cat, will quickly move to the rest. This product is perfect for those instances where exposure isn't long and needs immediate attention. It is important to understand that this only works on adult fleas and not the entire flea life cycle. It works for 24-48 hours to eliminate most, if not all adult fleas. It can also be readministered safely every 24 hours later if needed. Having said that, if you have an already established infestation (meaning you have eggs, larvae, and adolescent fleas) you'll need to combine this with another form of medication to address the problem. It will still be effective on the adults but not the younger forms of flea. This means that the eggs or larvae that are there will eventually hatch and become fleas. One aspect of the medication that I want to mention is that it may seem like the infestation is getting worse because your cat may start showing signs of increased itchiness during the first few hours of giving the medication. That's actually normal because as the fleas die, they become twitchy causing the additional itching. This will pass and you'll notice a significant difference within 24 hours. You'll start to see dead fleas on light colored items where your cat has been - which is very satisfying. So in conclusion, if you want quick results to eliminate a recent, short term exposure to fleas, this is a solid choice that will address the problem. If you're looking for a way to give your cat almost immediate relief fro adult fleas, however you have an established infestation, this can aid in eliminate the adults but needs to be combined with another (perhaps a topical treatment) medication that will address the other life stages.

Great temporary flea solution. Nothing really permanent. Ive been using this over cream you rub on them because I have multiple cats who groom each other. Getting them to swallow this is a little difficult, I tried crushing it in wet food and no luck, now I have to just drop it in their mouths and they eat it. It seems to make any bite spots go away in about 3-4 days. I notice them being less itchy as well. I usually get these because im renting a room where I live and csnt bathe my cats as often as id like

Our favorite medicine for our Russian blue. He knows it helps. We put it on the back of his neck, there is little to no smell and an incredible reduction of fleas. He is an outdoor cat so it can get tough but this medicine is worth every penny. Does not irritate his skin at all, he just doesn’t like the feeling of his wet fur. But this keeps him healthy and ready to tackle any wild mouse without bringing back a nest.

I don't usually write Amazon reviews, but this is the best flea medication or treatment I have ever used in my life. I've been dealing with fleas, so bad that I have scars. All over my legs, and I bought probably $400 worth of products to get rid of them. I tried the natural way. I tried the chemical way, obviously not hurting or harming my cats in the process. I gave my cats the meds last night, and I combed them this morning with a flea comb, and they were all dead! I will never buy any other Flea products ever again. This is the only one I will ever buy. From now on, I have a subscription. This is a 10 out of 10 product. I have 5 cats btw and a small chihuahua. ( yes im a cat lady)

This product will kill every flea on your cat for approximately 24 hours. It has virtually no side effects. Although some people say it makes their cats agitated, what is actually happening are the fleas spazzing out! The cat reacts to the sudden activity of the fleas. Especially if there's a heavy infestation. I like it because it does not carry the risk of bad side effects other flea products do. It is safe for kittens (over 2 lbs) and was even prescribed for my cat with kidney failure. It's most effective if you treat all the animals in your house at once. And then dose again and a day or two to get fleas that may have just hatched. I have found this ineffective way to get control over a flea infestation without having to resort to more toxic measures. And that even includes the messy and less than effective diatomaceous earth! That "natural" stuff is damaging to lungs and dusting your animal with it will have bad side effects! Think about it… They push their nose into their fur to groom. They will inhale it. This stuff can be pricey, so I recommend checking out Sam's Club. You'll pay the same amount for a pack of 12 instead of six.

My kitten was infested with fleas when I got her and I will say since using this Ive noticed a huge difference. I only see her itching occasionally and maybe a flea here and there. This will definitely help kill most of the fleas on the animal but will not get rid of all of them. I recommend giving a dawn dish soap bath first and then give the medication. if

I don't know if this stuff actually kills fleas, but it sure has a dramatic effect. Within an hour after giving one of these pills to my cat, the cats starts scratching like crazy, and the fleas start hopping off like roaches scurrying from a light! It's best to have the cat in an area with a vacuum cleaner standing-by ready to suck the fleas up as soon as they hit the floor. My cat ain't gonna eat no pill, but she loves canned cat food. So, I grind one of the pills up into powder with a steel kitchen mallet and use a popsicle stick to mix it thoroughly into the cat food. I let her lick off the stick afterwards as an extra little treat. Then just wait for an hour or so, and let the show begin.
