Are there at least a few that would be considered jewelry quality? Basically would a professional jeweler buy these to use at least some of the gems?

My apology for the incomplete first answer. Something went wrong with my system. Anyway, to continue, start with a small amount and have it appraised. For the price and the quality, it can't be beat. As I stated, my purpose is not for sale, it's a personal collection. I find them of excellent quality and beautiful. They are worthy of setting into jewelry pieces.

Aren't gem stones suppose to be expensive?

These Gems are not precious gems like ruby, emerald, sapphire. They lie in the category of semiprecious gems that is why they are not very expensive.
