20-091 Ground Level Single Track Assortment Set

It’s a set of smaller sections of Kato unitrack, and like all Kato products it’s a good quality and works great with their other unitrack options. The set has x8 29mm sections and x2 45.5mm sections. It’s easy to use and is great if you’re building a model railroad layout with Kato unitrack. I included pictures of the track next to a ruler, connected to other unitrack on my layout, and next to some longer sections, all for reference of the sizes.

Kato N unitrack is a quality product. Easy to set up and take apart if needed. Track with attached roadbed looks good also. Quality N scale track that is easy to use for beginners and experienced modelers.

It’s nice to have a variety of Kato track sizes when you are planning out your layout. You always need an odd ball length that you can make up with an assortment of sizes. Since I’m in the planning stages right now I have an over abundance of track left over after I settle on my final design. That’s the down side of having lots of track you wind up with a lot of leftover track. The up side is you can physically build the track design with the assortment of track you have on hand without guessing what sizes you think you need. The bottom line is you will always have left over track unless you plan a basic oval. This set of smaller track pieces are a must for laying out a more complex design.

These track pieces worked perfectly for our N scale Kato model train. We needed just a few small pieces for the basic track configuration to extend it and provide some flexibility in the design. This kit provided the different pieces that we were able to use.

Sometimes it takes an unusual length to make it all work. These 1 1/8” and 1 13/16” pieces are perfect to close the gap. Derailments disappear..
