This product is amazing. Initially I had problems getting it to work properly, but found out it was my own fault, having modified my display driver to expand the freesync range on my PC. This badboy extends my AMD Radeon Vega 64 graphics over a 22 meter cable, running 3440x1440p@100hz with freesync. One thing to note. Initially my display showed up at 60hz. But by creating a custom resolution using AMD's own driver software and setting it to 100hz. The device then started running. Yes, it gets hot. In my rack cabinet, where I have my gamer PC, I have mounted fans, that cool everything, including the extender transmitter. I consider to add some heatsinks to the one in my office. Because I want it to last long, because it's so amazing. Zero lag ... zero lag ! I have also, because I'm a tech nerd added a Hue smart plug, to the device and controlling it via the hue API, so when it detects my PC shuts down, it turns off the extender and vice versa, when it turns on. This way I minimize, the time it's on. For the price, this device deserves 5 stars.

Expensive, but worked like a normal HDMI cable across CAT6 with the added support of IR forwarding. Recommended.

We had a faulty unit just out of guarantee so purchased a new unit. I asked if we could send them the faulty unit for a chargeable repair - they said ‘cheaper to buy a new one’ for £295!

Works like a charm. My AV is located in a different room so needed a devices that would extend HDMI ARC over Ethernet. Sound quality is simply superb. The only thing i have noticed is that on rare occasions, the sound drops for a micro second and comes back. I am still trying to figure out whether its my setup or the device. I am suspecting the device as i have tested the ethernet cable + AV setup. Could be a fault device but i am still investigating this issue. Apart from that, works perfectly.

I was trying to take ARC HDMI output from my television to a Sonos AMP. My television is in one room with Cat6 cabling to a set of Sonos AMPs in a cupboard. Other HDMI Extender products didn't work and they ran especially hot. What was required was an HDMI Extender designed for an ARC (Audio Return Channel) HDMI connection. This is the only product that I could find that specifically addresses ARC connection. It worked right away and after a few weeks I have had no problems with the product.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the unit to work, I managed to get power to both units though nothing else. I tried 3 different CAT6 cables, two within the fabric of the building and one loosely. Two have been verified as sound and are roughly 15m in length. A refund seemed to be the only return option which seems silly, I will need to source an alternative.

I am tremendously impressed with this product. I was unsure if it would work reliably because it seemed too good to be true. I needn’t have worried - I had it installed in under 10 minutes and it’s been working flawlessly for a couple of weeks now. The two units do get fairly warm when used for hours at a time, but that hasn’t affected the picture quality or anything. I couldn’t recommend this highly enough. A high quality product and tremendously useful.

After the installed HDMI cable failed i had to find another way to get the signal from the AV amp to the tv ,so decided to use a spare Cat5 cable that I installed when the room was kitted out .Took to google and found these beauties,So far so good ! ARC , picture and IR all working well. Sender fixed flat on shelf next to AV with fixing kit and the receiver mounted on the wall with kit behind the tv. Cat5 cable length 25-30 ft

A ido perfecto todo muy bien

Il convertitore funziona egregiamente. Non l'ho provato con segnali 4K, ma con segnali video 3D funziona benissimo, per cui, sino al 2K sicuramente non ha problemi. Ho collegato i due scatolotti tramite due spezzoni da 9 metri di cavo ultrasottile CAT5e, terminato su due porte rJ45 CAT5e e prolungato con un'ulteriore patch da un paio di metri CAT6. Ottima la funzionalita POC che consente di alimentare il ricevitore nella botola del videoproiettore senza ulteriore alimentatore. l'ARC funziona benissimo. Ho avuto solo grossi problemi di sgancio e aggancio del segnale HDMI o dell'ARC, quando azionavo, soprattutto in accensione, i faretti RGB del soggiorno con relè commutatore. Seguendo alcuni forum, ho brillantemente risolto il problema, inserendo dei nuclei di ferrite sul cavo ethernet che univa il trasmettitore e il ricevitore, acquistati sempre su Amazon e di varie dimensioni. Se avete lo stesso problema col Vostro impianto Home Theatre , molto frequente con le nuove lampade a LED, dovuto agli alimentatori switching integrati (e in ogni caso in presenza di luci al neon o con luci azionate con relè classico a bobina elettromagnetica o quando si azionano i motori dei frigoriferi), Vi consiglio di utilizzare questi nuclei e distribuirli un po' su tutti i cavi coinvolti, sia sulle linee di alimentazione AC e CC, sia sui cavi che trasportano i segnali digitali (ovviamente non sono necessari sui collegamenti in fibra ottica, perché esenti da interferenze elettromagnetiche).

Tenía que enviar el signal de un recebidor sat a tres televisiones y elegí esto aparato, junto otro mas sencillo y con un HDMI splitter de la misma marca y estoy muy contento. La qualidad del signal es perfecta, nunca un mancamiento, la instalación es muy sencilla. El repetidor IR del mando de la television functiona perfectamente. El POE es un plus así como la functione ARC. Estoy muy contento y lo recomiendo.
