A great suitcase, for a really good price ...
Looked around a lot, before buying this suitcase. Had never heard of the brand name, but the reviews were good, and the price was low. Figured even if it didn't pan out, I hadn't spent a lot of money. Just returned from a two week trip to Japan, where my suitcase got shipped between 6 different cities (their nation-wide 'luggage transfer' system is incredible, and cheap. No more hauling of luggage onto busy trains/subways, or buses!). So numerous people were handling my luggage, and it held up well. Hardly any scuff marks. Glad I chose the Wine Red color, as it stands out well, when retrieving luggage, and it doesn't tend to show dirt/scuff marks like the light colored ones do. This was my first time using a hard shell, and I purposely chose the type that was expandable. BUT ... I wasn't sure how durable the zippers would be. It felt like that would be 'the weakest link' in the entire system. So I decided to double-strap my suitcase, every time it was transported, thereby taking the pressure off of the zippers. Worked great. One strap vertical, one horizontal. Snugged down tight. I also position the buckles on my straps, so that they aren't getting thrashed by the other 50 bags piled ON TOP of mine in the cargo-hold of the airlines. I KNOW, I stacked bags for way too long, for one of the major airlines. Move your buckles, so that the vertical strap buckle is at the bottom (down between your wheels), and your horizontal one is positioned on one of the zippered sides. Works great, no more broken buckles. Do yourself a favor, and double-strap your luggage. Especially those of you, who are complaining about 'zipper failure' on your stuffed suitcase. You can thank me later. Try this suitcase. Rolls great, handle adjusts easily, and I was able to pack 2 weeks clothes (using 'compression bags, which work great!). No sense spending $200 - $300 for a suitcase, unless you just got to HAVE some catchy brand name.

The smoothest rolling suitcase set I tried
It was a very difficult decision, but I ultimately settled on a different set. However, this one was a true contender out of the 3 I ordered to compare. I kept the other one because it simply had more features I wanted. I compared 3 different sets, two by this brand. This one was superior to the newer model, feeling stronger and rolling straighter with more stability. I also liked the sturdiness of this model and the fact that the corners are rounded. (The set I kept was the Luggex, because both interior halves zip closed, and that brands carry on size was expandable, as well as having a sturdier feeling handle.) The fact that the Showkoo does not have as much interior organization, the smallest does not expand and the handle felt a bit wobbly, were the only points not in its favor. It was a really tough decision because the Showkoo set ROLLS LIKE BUTTER. You can push and steer it with two fingers. Comfortable hand grip as well with a good solid feel. This made it really hard to choose between the two brands, because the Luggex was harder to roll and steer. However I decided to keep that set because of the organization, expandability, and consistency in quality from the largest to the smallest. If you don’t need the expandable carry on, I’m sure you will be perfectly happy with this Showkoo set. Just be aware of what features you need. Well worth the price!

Close to Perfect!
We need new luggage for a series of trips from America to Europe and North Africa this summer. On paper this was the best set for the money and it still seams like the best overall deal on Amazon after the first of our scheduled trips (Morocco and Portugal). The PVC + ABS material is resilient and the corners are rounded so I feel confident in the claims of high durability and impact resistance. This set is one of the few that has 2 expandable bags (large and medium) and in addition to the divider with its two built-in zipper pockets (one mesh) it has an extra pocket running top to bottom along he hinge for small items like cosmetics and toiletries. The wheels are great an the lock and zippers are perfectly functional. We bought another luggage set at the same time that was made by Fanskey. It features silky smooth YKK zippers on the outside that make these zippers feel good, but not great. But the inside zippers are more or less the reverse and it lacks the extra interior pocket or the expandable mid-size bag (only the large is expandable). I think the Showkoo is the probably the better choice for most people because of the features and impact resistance, but for the trip I just took, I think I liked the Fanskey a little better because the flatter sides and sharper corners together with the slick zippers made it a little easier to pack. But it is super close. I would choose based on color. One concern that we had with the Showkoo is that if you add up the length width and height of the large bag it ends up exceeding the combined size allowed by many airlines. This is the direct result of the rounded corners. But if you measure the circumference with a flexible tape measure I think you will find that the rounded corners make the circumference the same as the more flat-sided Fanskey bags we bought. In practice I think airlines are going to be a lot more concerned about the weight of the bag than its ultimate dimensions. (And we actually got away with a couple of extra lbs on our return flights.) So I would not be concerned. If you find the color you like (and my wife really likes the bright green) than I would say go for it. But I would probably buy the Fanskey again in the shiny navy blue just like I did this time.

Very pleased!
LOVE the color of these suitcases. I’ve been worried about getting a hard shell suitcase after knowing people who’ve had them break. I was pleasantly surprised by these. I got them on sale and am thrilled with the quality and the cost of $144 for 3 sizes. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I wish the middle size would’ve qualified for a carryon but it is about 2 inches too long and 2 inches too wide. Could likely still use it as one but I was too afraid. Ended up using the big one. Love that it isn’t gigantic so even when I pack it full, it stays under the weight limit. Pleased with how much it fits, how well it rolls, and how well the zippers work and the quality of the hard shell. It seems to have a bit of give with it so it seems less likely to crack or break.

Updated Review - bear this in mind
Arrived quickly, perfectly packaged. Smooth rolling and very manueverable for a weeklong first trip. Worked perfectly including the Built in lock. Just be mindful that the luggage is designed to open like a book and one packs both sides of the suitcase. If you need to open it while in transit be mindful to do so carefully as one side of packed items might fall out at the wrong angle, also a bit akward if using a hotel luggage stand as the fully open case will extend beyond and possibly fall over. Otherwise these suitcases have received compliments. ———————— Updated Review as of July 2023 after more that one year of use, a few comments to share. The overall set has held up, but the quality is so so. The set has been checked in for a short flight or two, but after a June 2023 road trip on a coach bus the 25 inch case zipper handle came off its track. I managed to reconnect the zipper after a few tries, but discovered a few things (see the photos) a) the zipper track itself was unevenly sewn when made, with no natural barrier it was only a matter of time before the zipper handle simply slid off, b) the liner was glued, not sewn and simply tore off; c) the rubber portion which is in fact the hinge to the case is soft plastic and tore on one end. My overall thoughts are these cases are more suitable for gentle road travel, I’m confident the smaller 21 inch could be relied on as carry on if you are handling it yourself on a flight, but the larger 25 and 29 inch would probably fail at some point as checked bags in the hands of the airlines is my thinking especially for longer distance travel or offshore transfers with bags thrown onto luggage pallets and carousels. If you’re wheeling them into your car and straight into a hotel room, they’ll probably be more reliable and longer lasting.

Very impressed with this purchase.
This is a very nice set of luggage. Very durable and a big carrying capacity. I picked this color so I could easily find my bags at the airport but also it is a very pretty purple. They fit a lot inside each one and it’s nice they all fit inside each other for easy storage. The locks on the side are so nice and easy to set to your own combination. Plus TSA can access it and relock it . I know this for a fact because I got home and had a TSA paper inside my luggage and it is was still secured. They function smoothly, all 4 wheels rotate so you can roll them standing up or on there side. Handles are sturdy and push back inside without any issues.

Amazing set and price point is a bonus!
I have had this set now for 2 years and have traveled all over the country and to Australia. They have held up perfectly and i have no issues still. I do use the stretchy covers every time i use the luggage. Part of my unpacking routine once home is to hit the with a magic eraser. besides a few minor scratches near the wheels where the covers don't cover, they still look brand new. I highly recommend this set.

I want that piece of luggage replaced!
We thought this was great quality but the zipper is broken on one of the pieces of luggage. You must be very very careful zipping them up as the zippers are not the best! We did get the warranty but having a hard time who to get in touch with about the broken zipper. As you can see on the photo some of the teeth are broken!
