Casper Dog Bed, Plush Memory Foam, Small, Sand

This pet bed is so comfortable and plush that I think I would like to get one for myself as a mattress! I have a senior dog and while this is definitely a luxury item, I wanted to spoil her this year and this bed definitely fit the bill. She loves it so much and it is so thick and keeps her so far off the ground, I know it’s great for temperature control and comfort. I have a 50 pound husky mix, and the medium size worked just fine because her preference is to sleep in a tiny ball. We did buy her a back-up bed that’s larger from a different brand to see if it was more important to her to be able to stretch out, and she still sleeps in both of them in a tiny ball, so now we have one for upstairs and downstairs. Again, it is an expensive purchase, so we’re not buying a second one right now, but I think next year we will definitely be investing to replace the other one. I really love how all the pieces come apart and you can wash the cover if you need to. Oh my gosh! They also included a little stuffed dog frisbee in the packaging, so thoughtful. I’m not sure if that’s a limited holiday treat, but we appreciated that too. Again, senior dog, but we do put medical ointment on her feet, and that does appear to be staining the bed, otherwise haven’t had any issues with staining, and I know that the paw stuff has oil in it so we’re not too worried about the bed. Oil stains are a pain but we prefer happy paws. We’ll see if that comes out when we give it a wash, and we thought about it when we got the lighter color, but it is a dog bed - it doesn’t need to be pristine. I haven’t had a chance to test the waterproof or lack of state, but that is a point the review prompt is asking about, so I just wanted to address that it hasn’t come up for us just yet. Fully support and encourage this purchase if you have a pet you love and would love to spoil, or if there’s someone else in your life who has a beloved pet, this would be such an impactful gift.

My 10yr old dog, is absolutely obsessed with her new bed, she's got some hip and joint issues in her back legs and the bed being high but not elevated makes it so easy for her to get up and down. I would even say it's got a cooling aspect to it and the cover is extremely durable and easy to clean. I find that a quick vacuum with my Dyson gets majority of the hair and dirt off without needed a wash! Totally recommend, might be a little bias because we have everything Casper but regardless totally worth the purchase!

I get on these kicks looking at dog beds, in search of the perfect one. I'm not going to say this one is perfect, but it's my favorite we've ever had! We have a 65 pound boxer who is 3 years old. He likes to sleep on anything comfy (that may or may not be made for dogs). As you can see in the pictures, he enjoys his Casper bed! So it is dog approved - he lays on it often and both curls up and stretches out. He likes the bolsters. But I also approve it! I like how thick and firm the mattress is and the 4 bolster inserts. The cover material is sturdy and feels like it'll last (it's been in the washer and dryer just once so far), but still comfy enough to attract the pup. I like how they designed the cover and zippers - putting it together is easy and it holds it's original shape. The only thing I wish is that there was a size between the medium and large. We got the large and I wish it were a tad smaller. But I think the medium would be too small since he does like to stretch out, too. It doesn't bother me enough to want a different bed. If I do buy him another bed, it will likely be this very one. I'm telling you, we've had several brands and styles... And I'm really liking this one. Pricier than I've spent on dog beds, but I'm glad I did!

I bought this bed based on a review from the NYTimes Wirecutter right before our puppy was spayed, as we knew there was no way she could get into her crate while wearing that ridiculous cone the vet sends them home with. Sadie is a 40-pound, 6-month-old Coonhound Beagle mix. We bought the medium in beige. I honestly thought it would be memory foam for the price and was surprised and disappointed that it wasn't. I mean, really. That's why people buy Casper in the first place, isn't it? So far, it has held up very well, with my chief complaints being shrinkage and pilling. I washed and dried it following the instructions and was disappointed that it shrank enough that getting the foam bumpers back into the bed is difficult. Because beagles like to dig, I bought this bed because it has a lil extra fabric on the top that makes them feel like they're nesting... but it shrank so much that there's really nothing for her to nest with. That being said, it hasn't shrunk any farther and it gets washed once a week (because puppy). The suede fabric on the top of the bed has also pilled. Other than that, it has stood up to ~1 month of digging, pawing, being dragged around the living room, and sharp puppy teeth without one single tear or catch in the fabric anywhere (and believe me, I've looked). It does get a lil messy when she eats a treat on it, but that's why we have a washing machine. Some OxyClean and it comes out looking great. As for Sadie's opinion? She completely loves it—so much that it has pretty much cured her of getting up on the couch... no small feat! She fits beautifully on it and even has enough room to lay on her side and stretch out her legs when sleeping (though most times she's curled up). This is something I know she'll have for years, which is wonderful.

My dog has used this bed for over 3 years. It is amazing how it has held up and hardly even looks used. Our dog chews everything. Bedspreads, any type of stuffed dog toy for sure.....even most of the" indestructible" dog chew toys. Not a chew mark on this bed. He loves his bed. Likes to rest his chin on the bolster sides. Expensive.....but cheap in the long run. He was chewing up his other beds in a blink!

Waay too expensive for what it is. After reading some of the feedback I decided to buy this bed thinking our 17-year- old Chihuahua would find it more comfortable on his joints, well, he let me know right away what he thought of this bed, and how much he hated it since he decided to pee all over it, something he never did to his other bed, I had to take it apart to wash, my husband and I spent several hours trying to put it back together again since after washing, it was inside out and a real challenge, honestly I would never buy this bed again. My dog hates it as well as our other two Chihuahua's, neither of them will sleep on it, it's an expensive unused piece of dog junk we now have lying around. Now we hate it as much as they seem to. I think I will probably be donating it soon to the pound, maybe the dogs there will enjoy it. Good luck; if I were you I'd save my money, but if you do decide to buy this bed for your pet we hope your dog or cat will like use it more than our little babies did since they all just went back to sleeping on their old worn out little donut beds completely ignoring this expensive thing, for us, it was a complete waste of our hard earned money.

Best dog bed ove ever purchased. Their first Casper dog bed purchased (this model in grey) was almost 2 years ago and it has been kicked around, stepped on and well used by a 25 pound dog. It also has been on a few car trips and squished into the seat. It holds its shape very well, and the cover can be taken off and washed. Decided to purchase a second one for upstairs. My dog loves it. It is a high-quality bed that keeps it shape overtime (for reference the gray bed is the almost three year-old bed and the tan is the new bed). I wish they would make a car seat.

The memory foam disappoints in the quality! It’s not a proper memory foam. It doesn’t add value that justifies the high priced bed

El tamaño es mucho mas grande de lo que se ve en las fotos del anuncio del producto. ¡Puntos extra por el juguete en forma de waffle que viene de regalo! Fácil de armar, el material de la funda se siente resistente y de buena calidad. Mi labrador chocolate inmediatamente se subió, y como pueden ver en la foto, se puso feliz de estrenar cama. Espero que le duré. Mantendré actualizada mi reseña conforme pase el tiempo.

I will never buy any other kind of bed this is the 2nd bed for a 2nd dog they last a very long time and the cover wears out before the cushions are done given the quality it actually works out to be incredible value for money worth every penny

J’avais acheté ce même panier orthopédique, il y a de ça 7-8 ans en arrière, lorsque la marque CASPER distribuait encore en Suisse. Mon chien adore ce panier. Il l’a accompagné jusqu’à aujourd’hui et il est encore en excellent état ! Je cherchais désespérément un deuxième panier orthopédique pour le mettre dans une autre pièce, mais impossible d’en trouver un de la même qualité et du même confort. Alors quand j’ai vu que je pouvais le commander sur Amazon j’ai sauté sur l’occasion et je ne regrette pas du tout ! Exactement la même qualité qu’à l’époque. Il est parfait ! Surtout pour les chien plus âgés avec des soucis d’arthrose (ce qui est le cas du mien). Je sais que le prix peut en dissuader plus d’un, mais faites-moi confiance, il durera dans le temps !
