Since using these we have attracted many lovely birds to the garden. Blue tits, grey tits, bull finches, chaffinches, wagtails, gold finches and yellow tits. Before we only seemed to attract sparrows and starlings. There is a little mess from the empty shells but a small price to pay for the lovely birds the sunflower heart have attracted. Will continue to you and would recommend these.

Large plump sunflower seeds and the Goldfinches devour them at a rate of knots. I need to buy in bulk rather than the small 5L tub though-that only lasted me a few days-albeit with no waste as the Sparrows and Yellowfinches mopped up the dropped bits in no time. 5L sounds large but it was only about 2kgs (ish) so was good quality seed but quite highly priced for the weight.

Bag is solid enough to contain the seed. The birds are happy enough. Buying it in bulk is a cost effective way of feeding the birds. Lasts a long time if you keep it dry.

Poor quality? Old or stale? Something not right…I’m used to refilling feeder almost daily whereas these seeds are definitely going down slower. Every year I am witness to squabbling and queuing up of green & goldfinches eager for sunflower kernels. This batch is only of passing interest from them, a few greenfinches stay to feed. Goldfinches seem to have tasted them and not come back However blue and great tits keep coming back and what dropped bits seem to please dunnocks, robins and chaffinches on hoovering-up duty. I will revert to last year’s supplier next time.

Il n'y a que les petites mésanges bleus qui les mangent,j'ai du les passer au mixer pour les réduire presque en poudre car trop dures,depuis c'est parfait ,pour le moment les autres oiseaux préfèrent les tournesols avec l'enveloppe!
