Excellent Fit and Protection for the Garmin GPSMAP 79sc
I purchased this case to house a Garmin GPSMAP 79sc Marine Handheld, four AA batteries stored in a Storacell caddy (which I also highly recommend), and the unit’s USB cable. Great storage capacity - everything fits cleanly, easy to remove, and without strain. I appreciate the understated design—no logos, no unnecessary styling—and the neutral color gives it a refined, unobtrusive look. Although soft-sided, it has great functionality. The case provides excellent protection for transport and everyday handling. It is not waterproof, but it can be made water-repellent with a treatment such as 303 Fabric Guard. Construction quality is better than expected at this price point. Zippers are typically the failure point on budget cases, yet after a year of regular use, the zipper remains smooth and intact. Overall, a surprisingly well-made case and so an excellent value. Highly recommended.

Nice case for Garmin handheld GPS devices
Used many cases over the years in hiking, this storage case retains the shape for protection without going to a larger car GPS style case for protection and storage. Has a pocket to hold the sync cable or extra accessories and a nice durability of the case itself. Functions as expected, the pocket can hold a spare batteries if your model uses rechargeable battery packs and keeps them very secure from falling out of that pocket in travel.

Little More Room
My Garmin 67I fits nicely inside this case. Plus, there is room for the charging cable and extra screen protectors. One drawback is the manual for the GPS does not fit into the case.
