Amazon.com Gift Card in a Greeting Card (Various Designs)

There's nothing like getting Christmas presents in January. Three of them in fact. They were ordered way before Christmas. With baited breath, the giver waited, then apologised for their late arrival. Envelope one... The Gift Card was opened first. Receiving $50 from Amazon.com was great, I love to read and was excited at the opportunity to shop online. Box One- a beautiful lime green, leather cover. What the heck was that for? I was encouraged to move onto the next item. Box Three... Finally, with the beautiful gift wrapping removed, I revealed the gift of the century! I was holding a world of opportunity in my hands ... a sleek, thin, light weight, gunmetal grey Kindle. Quickly and easily placing it into it's protective, very cool lime green cover, I was certain that I was going to have to wait hours to play. To my surprise, that totally awesome Kindle came fully charged! "Play Away" became my montra! And play I did. Totally functional, a delight to any readers eyes, adjustable font style and size, and a world of books, newspapers, magazines at my finger tips. Did I mention this Kindle is 3G? Instantly, any book I ordered was effortlessly downloaded directly to my Kindle! No muss, no fuss, directly into my hot little Kindle! With books galore, the world is now mine to explore! These Amazon gift cards that come with a blank greeting card are extremely convenient! They usually arrive in 24-48 hours. I don't have to worry about buying a separate greeting card, since Amazon has some really nice greeting card designs for all occasions. The greeting cards are blank on the inside, but that doesn't bother me, as I prefer to personalize my greeting cards anyway. I also like how many of the gift cards themselves have a design on them as well, and that you can buy them in so many different denominations. If you buy them at the store, they usually only come in the one design with the "a" on it and have only 3 or 4 limited denominations that they can be purchased in. I've bought a couple of these for birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries. Most people I know buy something or another through Amazon. Another option I like when I'm purchasing a last minute gift (like on Christmas Eve), is the option to purchase an Amazon gift card and have it emailed to you or the recipient. It isn't nearly as pretty, but it is a very convenient option with instantaneous delivery which also allows you to purchase in various different denominations. Both the greeting card and email options also save you from the hassle of running to a retail store and waiting on a long line to buy one or two gift cards during the holiday season.

Every year for Christmas everyone brings a $25 gift. Everyone gets a number. The first person selects a gift from the pile of wrapped gifts and opens it. the second person can steal that gift or choose an wrapped gift. If he steals then the first person opens another. The third person can open a gift or steal and if he steals the person he takes it from can steal someone else`s gift or open another and on it goes. Once this was opened it was stolen many many times. I didn`t know how popular it was going to be! I usually buy a gift but I wanted something that would appeal to both men and women, young and older and this did not disappoint. My only complaint is it said free overnight shipping on gift cards and the $25 gift card was excluded. I wish that had been made clear. It arrived Christmas Eve (about 7 days after ordered) and I was sweating it out until it arrived. But all in all you can`t go wrong with an Amazon Gift Card. My BFF gave me $150 one for Christmas and it was my favorite gift! (Honestly though I had requested it).

Sometimes I am stuck in knowing what to give as a gift to someone. Either I don't know them well enough, they have everything, or their wish list has zero products. I prefer giving a gift, but when I don't know I give an Amazon Gift Card. Amazon has just about everything, every product you can imagine. One of the prizes is their gift certificate. There is a variety of prices and dollar amounts from $10 to $2,000. You can give a digital version, print your gift certificate or send it va mail. Amazon provides many designs, holiday, birthday etc, or you can upload your own photo. There is a design for every purpose. There is a dollar amount for every pocketbook. Employers can give gift certificates to their employees. In fact, if you use your imagination there is a gift card for every occasion in the world. What better than open up your email and to find a gift certificate. You have the ability to purchase whatever you want. My credit union provides points every time I use my credit card. I have redeemed those points for gift certificates for Amazon. What better gift than one that shows you care. Perfect for graduations or gifts!

This is an awesome deal. I remember years ago I tried searching for Amazon gift cards on Amazon, and I couldn't find anything, other than gift "cards" that you could purchase, and then the recipient would receive an email only - no physical goods to speak of. And you know what? In my opinion, that sucks. Ya, there doesn't *need* to be a physical card, but when I give a gift, I'd like to be able to *give* that person something tangible. Enter: The Amazon.com Gift Card. So, it's great that they offer a number of different designs at a number of different price points. One caveat: on the Amazon Mobile App on Android, it can be confusing as to how to choose the denomination and card design that you want. This is best purchased from the regular website. I got 3 different gift cards on here, each $20. Each arrived as promised. And why do I say these are a great value? Free 1 or 2 day shipping. AND, you get the gift card at no charge. In my opinion, the art on these cards are classy, and they're not printed on cheap paperstock either. So, why didn't I give this 5 stars? I think Amazon could be a little clearer that adding a "Gift Note" to your order doesn't get the message printed on the greeting card. The greeting card arrives to you inside of a plastic mailing envelope, with the gift card mounted in the greeting card, and an envelope. The package is more suited for it to be delivered to *you*, and then you write your note, and then mail or hand it off to your recipient. I think I read some other reviews from people saying that they ordered these to deliver straight to their recipient, and the person received the aforementioned package. Oh, and if you order add a Gift Note during checkout, it prints on bottom of the packing slip... Not exactly ideal presentation, when there's a brand new greeting card and envelope in the same shipping sleeve... [Update] I see they've since updated the description to mention the above "Gift Note" issue, and how exactly it is packaged.... Way to go, Amazon! This has been changed from 4 to 5 stars.

Everyone gets caught up in life from time to time. On a couple of occasions, I have found myself in an "oh, fudge-sicles" moment where I realize that there is a gift-giving event a day or two away -- and the whole shopping thing hasn't even crossed my mind yet. And, of course, this always happens when I have no time to head to the mall. Thank you, Amazon, for guaranteeing that this little back-up plan will arrive the next day. It may not be the most imaginative gift out there, but it's better than saying "Oops" or having to come up with an excuse. Fortunately, there is also a wide array of cover cards to tailor your gift to the particular occasion (except maybe an "I'm Sorry" theme in the event that you're already late). They are fairly simple, nothing fancy or of the quality that you would find at a store, but they'll do the trick. As for using the gift cards, it's a snap. The process isn't complicated at all, and I've never experienced any complications with redeeming them. Neither have I heard complaints from people to whom I've given cards -- one of whom was my mother who is rather technologically challenged. If she can figure it out on her own, I have plenty of faith in the rest of the world! I have read other reviews where some people have encountered problems, but I would assume that these issues are few and far between. There is something worth noting. If you are mailing this directly to the recipient and note that this is a gift when selecting shipping options, you will have the opportunities to include a gift message (as you do with all shipped gift items). This message will NOT appear on the gift card itself; it will appear on the slip that they insert in the package.

We typically receive a bulk rate discount on holiday gift cards purchased from other businesses, so we were hoping to find a bulk rate discount on Amazon gift cards this year, but could not. We even signed up on a special Amazon Incentives site and requested a sales call, but no luck. On the regular Amazon Business site, there was a limit to how many of each card design could be ordered, so we had to order several different designs. This order did include greeting cards and envelopes with no additional cost. Each gift card, enclosed in greeting card and envelope, was sealed individually inside another outside envelope. It was inconvenient to have to open dozens of envelopes prior to distributing the gift cards to our employees. Other than that, the cards arrived on time as promised and were exactly what we wanted.
