are these ornaments breakable?

The ornaments are made of a clay polymer which is bendable, sturdy, and much less likely to break than a typical glass or resin ornament.

Do they need to be stored in climate controlled area? Our summers get over 100 degrees for several weeks each summer.

The ornaments are made from polymer clay. I would imagine they might warp if stored in temps. that high for an extended period of time.

Someone asked if the size (5.5" x 3.25") includes the ribbon. The answer was yes, so what is the size of just the resin/clay portion of the ornament?

No. I gave those as gifts last Christmas and were adorable. The size listed was correct.

Will the polymer clay harden over time? They are pretty soft, somewhat bendable. I planned to hang above my stove will it affect the ornaments?

I bought mine a couple years ago and they are still be bendable. I hang mine on my tree so i cant speak to your concern about placing them near the stove.
