Bought these for my adult children to have when they are enjoying lake days and road trips. Is great for staying weather aware and recharging cellphones on the go.

We only used the radio for normal AM / FM pick up, which is great. No tornado yet.

For the price and the size it gets the job done.

Very nice well built radio but it has very little volume on the radio.

Stopped working after a few uses. I know it has power and I have charged it and also put batteries in it just to make sure and none of the radio functions work only the charging port and flashlight! Super frustrating because the return window Has already closed.Talk to customer service and they actually sent me a brand new one.

This little red Craftsman weather radio Is my reliable one for when the weather is getting bad.The alert signal is extremely loud... Then it will stop and you will hear the message from your weather center.(Needs improvement) One thing that I wish was different is .... I wish it'd turn off/ Go back into stand by mode after it gives the alert. However it just keeps repeating the local weather over and over and over and over and over and over and over until you change it manually. This is especially annoying at night!!I have bought one for my parents & For some reason, my father will not turn it on or even make sure.It is charged until I remind him when bad weather is supposed to be coming. I'm not sure if this has to do with the unbelievably loud alert or what.Another One of my friends bought one And she will not use it because you cannot control the volume on the siren/alert tone. It will literally scare the crap out of you when it goes off!!! And she says it is absolutely torture For her cat's and for her When it goes off. I don't know that she has actually ever used it because of that fact.Being able to charge it by phone charger is a good idea - But mine must have a loose connection & Makes a popping sound when it connects and disconnects & continues.I finally gave up and just used three AAA batteries.Now that I look at my review, I guess I have just gotten used to its quIrks. It definitely needs some improvement.But it definitely is better than others that I have tried

The "crank" for energy to run feature lasts for a long time.
