Klipsch R-15M Bookshelf Speakers and Powergate Amplifier Bundle, Black

Looks like my original review (along with many others) was deleted. Review is 1 star because of the amp. Amp was shutting off while running it using the USB DAC, thought I would try updating the firmware but the android app fails to work properly (apparently noted on the Klipsch website). Thought maybe the issue could be thermal as well since it runs hot but it doesn't seem to need a cooldown period and it always powers off after about 15 minutes with music playing. Based on other reviews mentioning subwoofer out issues I decided to return it immediately. It's a shame because the speakers sounded great.

Wow, I am very, very happy with this speaker and amp bundle. I have a Samsung 4K 65" TV, but when I switch to streaming, at the highest setting I cannot hear the dialogue, so I have to read thru movies and shows. Not ideal. So I bought this bundle when Amazon had a sale for under $400. It came brand new, but no manual. I am a klutz when it comes to setting any electronics up, but figured, perhaps even I could figure it out. Well, viola: set them up with banana plugs and wires, changed one sound setting on the set, and boy do I have sound, and it is not just the loudness, but the speakers are so crystal clear I hear every word (I should add I am in my late 60's...no hearing aid). The whole system just sounds wonderful and I could not be more pleased. The cherry on top is that I called Amazon about the missing manual as I am sure would be good to have in case I ever need it and to know all the features, and while the rep could not send me a hard copy, he gave me link on-line to a virtual copy and a $25 gift card to make up for the omission. Anyways, I am so happy with this Klipsch bundle and if you, like me, have difficulty with making out dialogue from muddy sounding TV speakers, try these out--my movie reading days are over and done....lol

This system is okay. It doesn't have the punch, range and depth I was hoping for but it's a compact unit and is versatile. I guess you just can't have it all these days.... Update: The system connects intermittently and sometimes just won't. And if I walk across the room with my phone the signal starts to break up.

I love the sound and size , but they come with no speaker cable but that's fine by me aa I would have brought my own anyway.

When it works the sound is good. Unfortunately, it turns itself off at random intervals ranging from 3 minutes to around 10 minutes. If you keep the remote handy you can turn it back on but it gets pretty frustrating to have to turn it on again several times during an album or a short video. I made it through the laborious process of contacting customer support but never got a solution. I have a full Klipsch system at my house and I love it but this system and its support is completely unsatisfactory.

Great sound. Can't go wrong with Klipsch. Still use my forte tower speakers from 1987. Amp is easy to connect to and straight forward.

Worked great. For 2 days. Now no device I own out of three is pairable with the receiver after it worked fine initially via Bluetooth. Try the auxiliary input? Works for about two minutes before I phones declared the device “unrecognizable “. Great. So, In a nutshell, I’m unable to listen to any music via devices, and that’s where all my music is accessible. Amazons customer service has no idea about the problem or how to fix it and was unable to contact the manufacturer. Basically I now own a useless 500 dollar receiver and no support to help with the issue.

Good sounding system, perfect for TVs.
