They were correct - I have 10 LB yorkie and he would not have fit in smaller one. BUT he loves it, once he got used to sitting still (as yorkies don't do that EVER), he was able to look out the window and be comfortable and SAFE while riding with me in the car. Easy instructions, love the sherpa insert for soft and comfy and room enough for a toy to ride with him and zipper pocket for treats. The harness hook is small but it does the job.
