Absolutely incredible service. Ordered pm on one day and arrived before noon the next day. Importantly left in exactly the place I had specified on the order form. I was also kept abreast of the delivery update by constants emails. It makes a beautiful gift with wonderful package; i love the sturdy box, with no dented corners, tissue paper and a great note. It is stylish and smart and would work for either men or women. It has the feel and sense of a luxury item but at an affordable price. Absolutely love it and will be buying more. And the best part is that the quality of paper is such that it passes the writing test ie. you can write in a fountain pen and the ink does not show. So, very good quality paper and super smooth to write on. If there is a downside it is the colour of the leather. This is highly personal but I am not keen on brown leather. And actually, don't have any brown shoes, or handbags etc so it is definitely a personal foible. Looking forward to the exact same product but in colours. I will be buying more as gifts.

I bought these as a gift for a vegan friend and when I got it I was tempted to keep it to myself. I did manage to muster some pateince and bought another one for myself. The unboxing experience is fanastic and the feel/ weight of the book is exquisite. For the price this still delivers excellent value; it outperforms other notebooks that are more expensive. I've tried them all, and this sits well in the middle. I would recommend for a couple quid less the Lemone brand, and for a coupla more the Dingbats. The hardcover is soft touch and firm, the paper is thick and crisp. I would say the paper is some of the best I have ever tried, even better than the Dingbats, I experienced no bleeding whatsoever even with a thick fountain pen. However, small minus point on the binding, had some excess glue on a few pages. This was only on one bind on one of the notebooks, so a minor point that doesn't take away from the whole experience of the book. Still 5 stars for me, thoroughly recommend.

A lovely book with a nice finish, the pages are quite nice and firm and handle most inks well. The lines are quite nicely spaced and not too dark. It's not too heavy and being roughly A5 sized it fits nicely in a bag, but is too big to fit in most pockets. The elastic strap on the outside keeps it closed nicely. The downside for me is that the pages can't handle a dip pen, whilst ink doesn't bleed through the pages, it will bloom on the page as you are writing with a dip or fountain pen. The pages also don't handle water very well, to test I tried to do illustrations in a watercolour pencil and activate the pigments with a little water, the paper buckled easily. I really rate this for use as a journal, and for writing in, but just bear in mind that it struggles a little with some pen types, inks and water.

Bought this as a gift. Both I and the recipient were delighted. Excellent quality notebook, beautifully presented in a box. Very good value for money. Will buy again.

this book is so nicely presented and packaged, the pages are thick enough that ink doesn’t seep through and they large back pocket & elastic to keep the book together is very useful. love this book as a journal, notebook or study book!

This is second one of these journals I've had and I like them a lot. The item is beautifully packaged and very well made, I write in it using a variety of ink pens and the heavy weight paper is really good because even the wet inks do not soak through. Will get another one when I have filled this on.
