**Q: Is this an inline head like Susan bates hooks?**
A: No, these hooks are at a slightly offset angle with a sharper tip. I like this type because they allow you to enter the stitch loops more easily. The inline hooks are harder to insert, in my opinion, and catch on yarn loops and disrupt my flow. Hope this helps.

**Q: How long is this Hook? 5.5" or 5 3/4" or 6" . . .?**
A: I think all of the clover soft touch hooks are 5 1/4 inch long.  I can't find my 6.0 but my 5.5mm is 51/4 inches long.

**Q: Does this line of hooks come in size K?**
A: No, the bigest size is J.

**Q: Is the G hook 4.0 mm or 4.5 mm? Is there a 4.0 mm soft touch hook?**
A: The G hook is a 4.0 mm hook and the one I have is a Clover Soft Touch.  I also have a 4.5mm Susan Bates Aluminum Hook that was gifted to me; it does not have any letter on it at all.

These are my new favorite crochet hooks. For many years I used the old-style Susan Bates or Boye skinny aluminum hooks and was very satisfied. But as I got a little older I decided I should try something a little more ergonomic so I got one of these Soft Touch hooks and loved it so much I got them all! They're silky smooth as they move through the yarn and the short shaft suits me well. I hold my hook like a pencil and don't know if that makes any difference. I also find that they are less likely to split the yarn as I'm crocheting. They are a little pricey, but are so worth it, and buying them one at a time I could spread the cost over time. I'll use these for a good long time.
