Strong Mechanism
This review is for the Simplehuman CW1852CB 4.5 litre round stainless steel pedal bin. This is a great bathroom bin, easy to clean, easy to empty, easy to hoof it open, and it has survived so far longer than all tried before and looks like it will last. No signs of rust so it seems to be as described.

Good white, pleasing shape.
Nice white, smart pedal that works well. Inside bucket for ease of emptying. Pleasing styling. The only negative was that is was a real clanger when closing so I stuck some foam on the inside of the lid to soften the blow but it took quite a stack of foam to do the job - at least a couple of centimetres deep. But, problem solved and we're now pleased with it.

Discrete, well made and hides bin liners
Bin looks sleek and discrete in the bathroom, finishing of product is great, soft peddle close works well and doesn't slip too much when opening and closing the bin. Comes with 2 bin liners from simple human which fit exactly in the bin whilst hiding the liner from appearing on the outside

Like most simple human products, this is a very nice one. Works great, looks nice. The only downside is the need to buy the bags from them (if you want it to look good). But it goes with the territory and their bags are really high quality. Note that it is really small...not exactly suited for a family of 5.
