I needed a new calculator as my eyes aren't what they used to be, and it was becoming difficult to see the display on my old one. This CATIGA Mechanical Switch Calculator is perfect! The numbers on the display are big and bright. I love that the colors are different shades of peach (my favorite, but it comes in many other colors, too). One caution: Initially, I did not remove the black plastic arrow on the back in the battery compartment. I wondered why the calculator worked only under my desk lamp. Well, the arrow keeps the battery from making full contact, so until I figured that out, I was operating only on solar. Once I removed the arrow, the calculator worked wonderfully. I love that the keys are raised and make a clicking sound, just like the old typewriters did when I was younger. (A while ago, I purchased a mechanical keyboard from Amazon that sounds like the old-time typewriters, too.) The fact that the keys are raised, as you can see in the photo, makes them easier to operate. All in all, I highly recommend this calculator! The price can't be beat, and neither can the functionality.

Love, love this calculator. Being elderly, I now find my old, dark calculator buttons and the piece itself didn’t stand out. Since I found this colorful one, I am so pleased. I can read it so much easier, not only with the color of the buttons and the piece itself, but also the large buttons. It’s not too small and not too large. I’m ordering another for my upstairs desk.

For a small, simple and inexpensive calculator this is exceptionally good value. 8 digit model - who needs 12?

A mia madre, anziana e con problemi alle mani, serviva una calcolatrice con tasti grandi e ben leggibile. Dopo aver comprato ben due calcolatrici in un supermercato, entrambe difettose, ho deciso di cercare su Amazon. Tra quelle intorno ai 10 euro questa (nella variante con sfondo bianco sporco) mi è apparsa la migliore per queste esigenze: display lievemente inclinato verso chi guarda, tasti leggibilissimi (ripeto, nella variante bianca), cifre del display molto grandi (ne ho viste altre che visualizzano fino a 12 cifre, ma alte e strettissime, poco adatte a una persona con problemi di vista. Questa ne mostra solo 8, ma belle larghe e leggibili). Inoltre, ha solo le operazioni elementari, in modo da non creare inutile ansia e complicazioni ad una persona anziana. E per lo stesso motivo, avendo pochi tasti, nonostante le dimensioni generose di questi non è eccessivamente ingombrante su una scrivania o un tavolo piccolo. Dopo aver ricevuto il prodotto, confermo le mie buone impressioni: è esattamente come me lo aspettavo (e mia madre, che ha molta resistenza ad usare "macchinari" nuovi, si è trovata subito benissimo, cosa di cui sono davvero contenta). Sulla durata non so dire, ma considerato che, ripeto, ben due calcolatrici comprate al supermercato sono state degli emeriti bidoni, difettose già in partenza, mentre questa è esattamente ciò che promette, per ora ne sono super soddisfatta e la consiglio. (versione colorata per bambini o ragazzini -attenzione, non è una calcolatrice scientifica, quindi non è adatta alle superiori, in particolare da quando si studia trigonometria in poi- e versione bianca per persone anziane, perchè è quella con i tasti più leggibili).
