Electric fuel pump for a lawn mower
This was the answer to my no fuel problem causing a no start issue. The mechanical fuel pump on my John Deere Z320R mower stopped pumping after 29 hours of operation. I replaced the fuel pump and it did not fix the issue. I then replaced the carburetor and it did not fix the issue. I then installed an electric fuel pump and was able to get fuel to the carburetor and the engine started. I do not know what is causing the pulse line to the mechanical fuel pump to not work. There is no vacuum on that line from the mechanical fuel pump to the inlet manifold. I did check the line for obstructions and found none. Its a mystery as of now but the electric fuel pump fixed the issue!

Pumps kerosene with no problem.
Used this great little pump to defuel and then refuel a kerosene tank. it took a little over an hour for each process and worked nonstop. I lengthened the wire to reach the 12v battery easier with no problem. Pump was not very loud and did not get hot like i thought it would. Very surprised it work better than I expected.

Fuel pressure is higher than it should be.
This has been working in my Suzuki Sidekick with Weber carb for several thousand miles now but the fuel PSI is higher than advertised at 4.5 to 5.0 PSI.

Don't use with a Carbureted Engine - Too much pressure
I rated this a 1 because it develops too much pressure. It is advertised to be a "2.5-4 psi", but it developed almost 9 psi. It worked, it pumps well, and is a great deal for the price, but it would not work as a pump for my carbureted Briggs and Stratton engine. At 9 psi of pressure, it over-pressured the carburetor needle and seat and flooded the engine periodically. It caused the engine to stall and stumble. I finally figured out the problem was this pump. I replaced it with a Facet pump I had that tested close to it's advertised pressure of around 2-3 psi, and the engine runs fine. My advice is don't use this on a carbureted engine. Otherwise, it is a good value for the money. The pump ran great and pumped well, too well for my application.

Life saver!
My boat motor is a 1986 Mercury 75hp 2 stroke. The fuel pump quit working properly, leaving us stranded several times for hours at a time until it decided to work again for a while. Hours searching the internet revealed that nobody made the pump I needed, OEM or aftermarket ( thanks a lot mercury ). I stumbled on this little electric fuel pump for $10 and thought "what the heck, it's worth a shot". Very glad I did. Replaced the priming bulb in the fuel line with this pump, bypassed the existing fuel pump on the motor, and wired it into the ignition key. The motor has never ran better. I don't know about other uses, but it's sure just the ticket for an outboard motor. Great product.

bought it on july 21th, stopped working on sept 9th
I am not a complainer but only 6 weeks?! Come on man!!!! I own a 1968 fiat 500 F. Vapor lock with ethanol blended gas was a real issue. I run it in line with the mechanical pump. Fuel flows though, even when the pump is not running which is great. I have a push button that i press only for hot starts in hot weather. Fixed my problem flawlessly and i will keep buying it because it is very inexpensive and works great until it fails. If you are the seller and read this i think you should send me a free replacement. I'll keep it as a spare and i'll give you a positive seller-review for your good deed.

This is the third small electric pump that I put on to my welding machine because the vacuum operated one sometimes didn't work each one of these small electric pumps that I bought didn't last very long and kind of noisy I saw this pump on Amazon for lots of different prices between $15 and $40 for the exact same pump what's up with that I bought the cheap one it works I bought an extra one because the small pumps eventually fail I think it's just too much work for them over time it's still a good solution for me as long as the price the pump is cheap enough it only takes a few minutes to change it out.. shipping was extremely fast here in Canada postal service is on strike and about to go bankrupt I wonder why the courier had this part to me a week faster than Canada Post would have I ordered often and they're extremely slow and bureaucratic bye-bye been nice knowing you Canada Post
