Bought my first Macbook and I was in search for a cute and protective case. I did a bunch of research and so far this was the only brand with reputable reviews. It was easy to put on, at first the back part wasn’t snapping on but I tried putting it on the clamp sides first and it snapped on. Laptop closes fine and keyboard is a nice touch, comes off easily though. I didn’t want to use the screen protector, I saved it in case I changed my mind. The design- super cute and very glittery!!! I love it.

Love it. Durable & cute

The silver is just like the image. It's very pretty and sparkly! The apple is cut out & this case is much thicker than my previous one which randomly chipped one day. This one feels sturdy enough to last a while & even the corners of the bottom case stick out a little for extra protection. They send you three different keyboards and one of them fit my Macbook perfectly! I have the A2338 model for reference. The only downside, and I think it's because of how thick the case is, is that the bottom edges lift up if you pull lightly. You can see this in the video I uploaded. I also wish that the letters in the keyboard were transparent so that I can use my keyboard's backlight. Those are the reasons why I took a star off.

Pros: the glitter is beautiful on the part of the case I received. Cons: first, it took me two orders to actually the receive the entire set. I was originally sent just the bottom piece that was clear. I was confused because I seen others have the top and bottom part where it was glitter. I thought it may have been a hiccup considering I didn’t receive any other piece that was supposed to come with it. WRONG!!! The bottom piece is clear and frosted. The keyboard cover is like a slip and slide for your fingers. It doesn’t stay positioned where it’s supposed to be. The screen protector was an arm wrestle and work out. I used to put screen protectors on iPhones and iPads all day and not have the issues I had with this. It’s floppy and doesn’t come with additional stickers to position correctly. It also doesn’t come with alcohol wipes to clean the screen. Once placed very slowly and precisely, I still had bubbles that I hope go away as I use my screen but it looks like I’ll be taking it off. WORD OF ADVICE: Don’t waste your money or your time.

Overall, it’s beautiful. The photos don’t do it justice; it’s the perfect shade of rose gold. It stays on very well- I have to pry to get it off. It’s a hard shell case, so I assume it would crack if I dropped my computer, instead of the actual computer cracking. However, there is one part that is not protected. The hinge part of the computer where the top and bottom meet is not covered, so I assume damage would be done if I drop it and it lands on that part. Don’t buy if you plan on just carrying your laptop around everywhere in your hands. Get a laptop bag or a backpack with a laptop sleeve. I am very happy with my purchase since I also got a laptop bag 😆
