Keeps going off randomly and has worn out 2 batteries in 6 months?

False alarms are commonly caused by something contaminating the sensor within the unit - usually dust particles or small insects. This an be easily rectified by using the hose from your vacuum cleaner and cleaning around the outside of the alarm. Keeps beeping 3 times after install? No indication why?

We tossed ours in the bin, it kept going off on the stair landing every time the steam from the bathroom hit it. It would even go off when nothing was there to make it go off. It was brand new but went in the bin,

Can i use glue to stick onto the ceiling? i am unable to remove my magnet, and need to reposition this elsewhere! thanks

My device is attached to a back plate which is screwed to the ceiling. This enables me to remove it from the site when decorating.
