Acrylic Overlays for Azul Player mat. Set of Four

I just received these, and have not yet played the game using them. They do not have a way of keeping them in place on the playing board. They simply lay on top of it. What I received does not seem worth what I paid for them. Granted, it will help to keep the tiles and scoring cube in place, but we will have to clip them to the board somehow to keep them from sliding around.

We bought a set of these because my sister had them for her game and it is really nice to have.. HOWEVER this particular product come covered in a film (on both sides!) That you have to remove. You know, the same stuff you get on a new cell phone? Anyway, it takes over 10 minute for EACH piece to get this stuff off, and no matter how careful you are, you almost certainly will break one of the very thin and fragile criss-cross sections! Why they put this stuff on this is beyond me. Total pain in the a**. I would return them but they will just go i to the landfill, so I'll just be careful and live with it... but i really do NOT recommend this product based on this nonsense.

You are probably going to look at the price of these and decide not to get them based on that, but if you really enjoy playing Azul don’t hesitate! This tray overlay takes a highly enjoyable game that can go to extremely irritating with one table bump and make it a joy to play over and over again. The makers of Azul, Next Move, should just take the leap and partner with Gaming Trunk and make them part of the standard game. I agree with another review that having them over lay on the board and not attach to them is bothersome, but we just clipped them together with a tiny binder clip at the top and they stay together great. Highly recommend!

These are nice overlays. I have others that have a snap on bottom to secure them to the player card (for another game) so I cannot rate these any higher. They help, but if they were secured to the boards, they would be much better.

The overlay came with a "removable" blue film stuck to both sides of each overlay. The separation between spaces on this game are so thin, and somewhat roughly cut, that it was extremely difficult to remove all of the blue film, and I was being very careful. Several spacers broke, even while trying to be careful. Even if it didn't have the film still attached, I doubt it would stand up to repeated use. The acrylic was not smoothly cut, and the thickness was not substantial. I'm sad it won't work, because we love this game and it seems like a great idea. I have to send it back because it's unusable.

This over lay is the perfect update to AZUL adding stability to the game …their product customer service is awesome as they sent a replacement overlay when one broke. Thanks !

The product displayed was clear, which is what I wanted. It came a pale blue tho. Looks ugly. There was no option I could find to pick a color so I assumed it would clear like the picture. Not happy. Wont be using them.
