Bright Ideas Cast Iron Pot Wax Melter

I love this tiny little pot for gentle, natural aromatherapy. I simmer oils or actual little bits of fruit and spices in this pot. So far, no weird peeling or anything happening like I see in some other reviews. It feels like it will be durable and long-lasting.

I plan to use mine for Simmer Pot recipes. I'm a Solitary Witch, so I never need too much of anything unless there is a need to do so. I read through the reviews and bought taller/8hr tea candles. Also, I noticed some reviews stating this rusts. That is true because it's cast iron. You can't just wash this and simply move on. You have to season it and keep it lightly seasoned. Very cute, perfect for my needs and I only recommend this IF you plan to give it the proper care. Ignoring the little maintenance that is required because this is cast iron will make you unhappy.

This is an excellent product, and as advertised. My wife bought one of these several years ago while we were in a shop in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She mentioned that she would like another one for upstairs, so I ordered this one here on Amazon. It arrived in excellent condition, all the welds are tough and everything is symmetrical. Some of the reviews I read mentioned several issues with the product, of which I did not experience. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is really nice! The cast iron is a good weight and does not look cheap in any way. I did not give it 5 stars because of 2 reasons. One, you will need 3 or 4 squares of your tarts, otherwise there is too much exposed and heated iron. Second, you will have to fine something to raise your tealight up by about an inch (or so). If you do not raise the tealight the pot will not get hot enough to heat the melts.

i got this for my friend and he made roasted garlic in it so i’m assuming it works pretty flippin good. just stalk up on tea light candles

I really love this thing it is very heavy and good quality. If I had to say something negative it would be that it is cast iron and therefore the wax melts do not melt hardly at all so I had to buy regular votive candles

I love this.. it’s a great cast iron pot for wax melts. I’ve had other ceramic ones and they got sooo hot i thought they would burn my mantle. Not a problem with this one. It’s sturdy and solid, of course really cute because it’s a little pot.

I use this as a mini simmer pot and I have gotten so many compliments from people who visit. The little cast iron melting pot is extremely cute.
