Multi-Fire XHD 28" Plug-In Electric Fireplace with Acrylic Ember Media Bed

I seldom write a review, but the Dimplex Electric Fireplace is worth my time. It came just in time for the holidays. Makes our family room so much more warm and inviting. It's very realistic, super easy to install, added enough heat to take the chill off the room, great fit in my fireplace. Replacing the battery in the little remote is kind of a pain. The batteries are more expensive than the regular battery, but it's a small concession for the beauty of the fireplace. In short, I love it and it is well worth the $$$!

I like the fireplace, but I think there are better ones for the same price. Maybe even less. One review stated you can hear a clicking noise caused from the "fire" lights wheel the create the flame movement. This is true. It isn't overly annoying, so I haven't tried to fix the issue. But it is noticeable. The heat has only an ON and an OFF function. The highest heat setting is 78 degrees Fahrenheit. It heats up our space fine. Our space is approx 20' x 20'. I like the look of the fireplace, but I think if I could afford a more techy featured one I would. This one is pretty basic for the cost.

It is a very nice well-made unit. I broke the glass that covers the front of the fireplace. Called the product support line that was listed in the booklet. They replaced the glass at no cost to me and told me I will have it within 5 to 10 days send me a tracking number. All is well I would buy this product again just because of the support.

We got this as a replacement for the last one we had. Our grandkids thought the flame was real, but finally asked why the logs don't burn up...lol. Whenever they visit, they insist on having it on and we can turn it on winter or summer as the temp can be se to heat or turned off.

Couple of issues as the remote was dirty and on box control cover made me think the was used previous but rest of unit clean. Real issue is the front glass seems to not have a way to attach at bottom. So flops if bumped. Seems very unsafe. If I was not having this in a spot we're the bottom can't be bumped or or pushed up. I would have returned. Outside of this the flames do seem real. There is a slight noise when unit runs(flamesonly).

Easy installation. In my existing tv cabinet. Love the flame colors. Temperature options are great. Can be used with or without heat. Very happy with the purchase

Very happy so far with the our purchase - totally changes look and feel of the room, and the flames are quite realistic. Heat output is wonderful. Easy to install. My only wish is it came with sound output (crackling) for the price paid. Highly recommend!

J'ai remplacéle foyer dans mon VR ne pouvant plus trouver les pièces pour l'ancien. Ma seule déception est la vitre qui s'acroche seulement. J'ai peur qu'elle débarque lors de mes déplacements.

Je cherchais un foyer électrique au look classique, je suis donc très satisfaite à cet égard. Il est de bonne qualité et est très beau dans mon salon. Les flammes et buches sont réalistes pour le prix. Seul bémol : le ventilateur est plutôt bruyant lorsqu'on allume le chauffage.

The Dimplex Firebox exceeds my expectations. The flames are mesmerizing, with several options to view them - more red, more blue or just a glow. The heater works fine, and it is not noisy. It fits well into my existing fireplace, replacing a gas fireplace. Now if I could only figure out how to secure it in the fireplace to prevent it from tipping forward in an earthquake.
