Quality leather but after wearing them for several months (I skip days to let them breath), they are not waterproof anymore. When I’m in the field working in dew and/or water saturated ground cover, it starts to soak into the boots and then my socks. I gave a 5 because there is no 4.5 to choose. Would be 5 if the were able to hold out another couple months. Other than that they are comfortable, it’s rough going back to my normal pair of boots.
