FibaFuse Paperless Drywall Tape

Working great so far, and was easy to apply. Cuts easily with utility knife or scissors. I had no problems with skin irritation due to the fiberglas. I'm hopeful the 6" width will prevent cracks from reoccurring. Used with USG Easy Sand 45

This is really good drywall tape. As others have mentioned, the mud gets adhered to both side of the tape and soaks in. It covered an expansion crack in my wall and highly doubt it will ever come back. Highly recommend ! Save yourself a hassle and spend a little more for this.

Incredibly easy to use and killer for holes up to 3 inches. Game changer.

Very useful product for drywall repair !

We are working on an older home and decided to repair some of the cracks in the plaster walls. I decided to use plaster for the repairs, but I presume that it would be just as effective for those using drywall compound. I really like it since it is semi-porous and you can "set" the fibaFuse into the plaster and then slightly skim coat it. I doesn't create as much of a bump as paper tape would & didn't lift like fiberglass tape had for me previously. Additionally, because of the width, it was easy to cover the crack as it meandered (generally straight) down the walls. I have some ceiling repairs in my near future and will purchase the wider rolls for that work.

Held my amateur ceiling drywall patch well. If it's not obvious enough, this is fiberglass so wear appropriate PPE when handling/using.

I patched over a big hole in the wall with this stuff & some spackle. I filled in the space behind with crumpled paper for additional support & the whole project took less than 15 minutes. It's awesome! I'd recommend wearing gloves. The fiberglass will make your hands itch if you don't. It cut easy and was a great width for my project, so I'm glad I bought this wide roll. Can always cut smaller pieces if needed for other jobs.

This stuff is a miracle product. Was reco'ed by a master plasterer and it is a DREAM to work with. It just melts into the joint compound, effortlessly. Will never go back to mesh again. Wondering if I can use the 2" size to tape new drywall seams. Seriously have told everyone with ears about this. It's awesome.

Threw out my mesh tape a long time ago as it is always an irritation to use. Threads coming out and going rogue when applying, adhesive lacking in, well ..adhesion. Sucks to sand too - always has a way of showing up under/through the mud. Was using paper for patches, or a California patch when applicable, waiting for a better solution. Then I fell across this stuff and it changed the game for me. I use the normal width roll for every flat and patch. Paper only for angles now. It flattens down better than mesh as it is thinner, you can apply mud directly over the surface due to its fibrous weave. It doesn't blister or bubble..ever (again, due to the material) Very strong when mudded into a joint. You can lap edges without the usual excess protrusion of paper or mesh. You can skim out a repair with less mud and create a smaller patch, resulting in a faster finish and heightened productivity. It even sands! Can't say enough about this product.

Like the width, specially for a larger cracks and corners.

it was easier to use than paper tape and laid down very nicely. I used it over crack because of its width and strength but only time will tell if it will help. It didnt shrink or blister with the quickset...I like it.
