Great Accessible Option
My mother got this because she is half paralyzed and can only use one hand. This, as you can imagine, makes opening cans rather complicated. This particular can opener actually hooks onto the can fully, so as long as you have a way to stabilize the base of the can (holding it between your knees, in her case), you can open it with one hand alone. She's tried a number of electric openers and such, but they have been inconsistent, ineffective, and struggled with many cans which has been a recurring annoyance. This one isn't having any of these issues, and she's ecstatic to finally have a consistently reliable option for opening her cans.Even better considering the affordable price! It's also small and easy to store.

Left only
Have a bit of trouble using it as it seems as if it was developed for left handed people.

DO NOT BUY
This can opener is very difficult to keep consistent on the edge to keep it moving. It does go in either direction, but you have to use your thumb to push the edge of it quite hard. I would not recommend at all. This is a picture of the can that I had to use a screwdriver and pliers to get open because the can opener would only work about an inch and then stop and would not go any further.

Great, small, easy to use
This can opener is an exceptional tool that has exceeded my expectations. Its compact size is a huge plus, especially for someone like me who appreciates kitchen tools that don't take up much space. Despite it being small, it is still easy to twist. It latches on smoothly, and the twist mechanism is a breeze, requiring minimal effort. Additionally, the grip is comfortable and secure, which is greatly appreciated when dealing with tougher cans. I rate this can opener a solid 5 out of 5 stars. It's a top-notch, space-saving kitchen essential that I find myself reaching for again and again. Great for anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-use can opener that gets the job done without fuss.

Stopped working well after 3 months
I purchaed this can opener about 3 months ago, and it has already lost it's grip and stopped working as well as when I first got it. It still cuts into the can but doesn't seem to have the torque necessary to make the can spin around, so I get stuck with a half-opened can. I don't use a ton of cans and would guess that at most, I opened two dozen cans before it broke. This was my first time buying this style of can opener of this style (either a handleless opener, or one that opens the outer rim of the can). Before it broke, I did find it relatively easy and intuitive to use.Even if my broken can opener is a fluke, be aware that style of can opener has some tradeoffs with the traditional two-handled opener. Cutting the outside rim of the can leads to a smoother edge on the can and lid, but can also lead to some of the liquid inside the can spilling out. Personally, I think that that's a worthy tradeoff for lower risk of cutting myself and bleeding all over my food, but neither option is perfect so think about which potential frustration you'd rather avoid before you buy, because as far as I know there is no can opener that perfectly solves both problems.

Somewhat oddly shaped paperweight
It looks decent enough, I guess; gives off a 'quirky genius' vibe. The only problem is that it struggles to get a grip on the can. At this point, Iโd have more luck with a table knife and a prayer.

Smooth and easy
Love this. Place it on the can and then the button pops out to come off your can once you've gone all the way around it. Place it straight in the bin by pushing the button it so you dont have to touch the lid at all.

Best can opener!
One of the best can openers that I've used. I'm so glad I got this at a huge discount... It's amazingly easy to use and does a clean 'cut' of the tin lid.
