Perfect for surgery recovery
I am getting ready to have back surgery, and I was looking for a bed table that would be large and stable. I have a lap desk that I use on the couch, but it tips if I move my legs, and it is too small for this purpose. I was a bit concerned about the height. I'm barely 5'0" tall, and all the reviews that mentioned that the person was small seemed to indicate that it would come almost up to my chin. In fact, this is true if I try to use it on my couch, but I did not buy it for that purpose. (The bottom of the legs are also longer than my couch cushions, so there is no way this could be used on my couch anyway. It would fall off.) In my bed, the height is equal to my elbows, which is just right for typing. Because of the extra height and width, I can shift positions without bumping either the table or one of the legs. I can sit with legs out straight, switch to crossed legs, then back again without any problems at all. The table is large enough to hold my 15 inch laptop and my Logitech Wave keyboard, if I put the keyboard partly over the laptop keyboard. There is a little room left over on the table on either side of the computer. If I use just the laptop, there is plenty of room for a notebook. I love the book holder! It will hold my iPad or a book not only on this table, but I will take it with me to the hospital as well. I imagine that with the pain meds, I will find holding a book or tablet tiring. I'm so thankful that the product developers had the foresight to make that a stand-alone feature. I plan on using the table for meals in bed during my recovery as well as a work space. Both my plate and my husbands will fit. There will be plenty of room left over for our drinks, silverware, napkins, and a small bowl or two as well. I have not yet tried putting a drink in the drink holder. It does look sturdy enough to support the weight, which was my greatest concern.

Just BUY THIS ONE. It is PERFECT.
As a writer, I tend to sit in bed and write a lot. Hunching over my work was giving me pain in my neck and shoulders. My back was unhappy, too. Then I got this table. First, let me say it is BIG. They weren’t kidding when they named it the XXL Mega Table. I have a 12.9” iPad (biggest one they make) and its stand has an easel that I use a lot. I can stand up my iPad, and still have plenty of room for a notebook. Resting my elbows at the front edge, my fingertips barely reach the back edge (I am not a small person). It’s just that big. I have plenty of legroom and it’s wide enough for me to sit under it quite comfortably. Secondly, this thing is built very sturdy. Strong. The legs are metal and fold out and snap solidly into place. They’re not going anywhere. You certainly don’t have to worry about it collapsing on you while you work. I like the drawer. It closes and snaps into place underneath the table. You could easily sit a can of soda or a coffee mug there. I’ll be keeping pens and such in it since it closes completely and nothing can fall out when you close it. The stand comes off and stores away neatly. I might need it for a book, or something. With the stand off, there’s a groove where you can stand up a tablet or a phone. The groove is lined with something like silicone, that will grip and hold whatever you stand up there. (In the drawer, there’s a similar groove for your phone, with the same gripping feature.) The people that designed this table thought of small details like that, to make it solid and user-friendly. The surface is slightly rough, so it won’t show marks or fingerprints. It has a smooth front edge, though, to make it feel good on your wrists/hands if you’re working in the front. It will be easy to wipe off to keep clean. I can imagine a child using this to eat or play on while sitting on the floor. To sum it up … see the title of my review.

Exactly what I needed!
I have been looking for, what I call, a bed/lap table for a long time that had all my wants AND needs & this comes as close as possible. It’s a really good size all around. The height is perfect for me and I’m 5’4”, so I’m short while sitting so this table is the perfect height for me to work and eat on if I want to. It enables me to not have to slouch while sitting & that’s very important for back support. Also, the width & depth are the perfect size for me, and it has a curved edge towards the bottom that makes it more comfortable for your arms/wrist. It’s large enough for my laptop, any paperwork or documents I need while working, with a little extra space left for my phone or whatever else I might need. Also, I love that it has a drawer, and I use it as a cup holder @ times but also to store pens/pencils (or whatever I might need) for my convenience. The slots in both the table and inside the drawer are also good features. The one along the top of the table will hold my iPad and/or my iPhone 15 Pro Max @ the perfect eye level to read or FaceTime. The smaller one inside the drawer would hold pens/pencils, but it’s also the perfect size for my phone. Last but not least, it has a smooth, spill resistant surface that is very durable and looks great. So, I guess you can say this is the perfect one for me, well worth the price, and I would highly recommend it.

Doesn't seat a party of 8 but it comes close
Are you familiar with the adage "Be careful what you wish for?" It's quite possible the author had this lapdesk in mind when he wrote that. This is a beast of a lapdesk. A BEAST. It's huge, it's spacious, there's room up top for amber fields of grain. The one I ordered and received was a return for whatever reason and for the most part you wouldn't know it. Except... for the fact the book stand wasn't included. That wasn't mentioned in the description and normally not a huge deal as I don't really foresee using it but I didn't pay for a lapdesk with missing parts, I paid for one that was previously owned but in like new condition. That's an issue I'll take up with customer service but worth noting for fellow penny pinchers willing to settle for like new condition. So back the sheer size of this thing. Have I mentioned how large it is? It's also surprisingly hefty. I'm impressed with the quality and short of an adult sitting or standing on it, expect it to last quite a long time. It's slick... like glass, so I recommend a gaming pad to prevent anything placed on top from flinging across your room, just out your reach resulting in a deep sigh because you'll have to lift this monstrosity off of you. Consider yourself warned on that front. Would I recommend it to friends? Yes, with reservations. If you enjoy sitting on the floor, it's a great height for that. As a lapdesk to use on the couch (which is why I bought mine) it's pretty unwielding but it's not a deal breaker because it's big enough to handle my Razer Huntsman Elite and mouse with a super handy tray with a slot to park your phone plus another slot built to accommodate a monster tablet. Plenty of room to spread out and get your study on, write a dissertation, perform an autopsy on animals under 40 lbs or carve a 20 lb turkey... Yeah, it really is that big.

No regrets
I’ve had this for about 3 months now. So far so good. It’s been holding up well and has been pretty durable so far. I purposely waited a few months to write a review. What I like: First I’ll mention that I am a woman and I’m about 5’4” I do like the height. Some people say it’s too tall, but I wonder how they are sitting when using this. If you’re slouched back at an angle, this may be too tall for your purposes. If you’re sitting up relatively straight, I don’t think you’ll mind the height. I like being able to rest my arms in the table. To me, it makes it a hell of a lot easier, particularly if I’m using this table not just with my laptop, but with a notebook and I’m writing. I chose this table, so when I’m using it on my bed, my cat can lay underneath it on my legs, or next to them, since it is wide enough to accommodate a good deal of leg space underneath. For me, this height is perfect and I like that it is fixed. I don’t want to worry about the legs potentially not being able to maintain its height if I had chosen a table with adjustable legs. I also do appreciate the slot to hold a tablet. I would, however, recommend taking your iPad, or whatever tablet you use out of the slot before you move this table. Particularly if you are not on a flat surface (like a bed). It won’t necessarily stay in the slot if you keep your tablet in while moving the table. I like the drawer. I like to put things in there while I’m using the table, but I tend to take them out before I fold up the legs to put the table away when I’m done. The rope handle is great, but I would have put it against the top or bottom sides instead of the left side. For those of us who aren’t that tall, it would make it easier to carry up and down the stairs, especially when carrying multiple things. I do actually like the book stand, I haven’t used it much, but it comes in handy when typing up handwritten notes into my computer to keep the pages of the journal open. That being said, I mainly use it when I’m sitting at an actual table and not using this desk itself. I just take it out of its holder underneath the desk. I like that there is no cup holder on the surface of the desk. Some people may like that, but I think that it is 1) asking for trouble when you’re using expensive electronics and 2) depending on the type, it takes up valuable surface space on the tabletop. I’ve noticed that with the portable laptop desks that include it on the actual surface, it tends to be removable, but it leaves an open hole if you take it out. For me, it was an unnecessary feature. If you do need a cup holder, the little pull-out drawer does double duty for that purpose as well. I should also not that I like the inclusion of a slot to hold your cell phone in the drawer, though it could easily fit in the tablet slot too. What I wish was included: I wish the legs themselves actually locked into place and a bit of force was needed to fold them back down. If you try to slide this desk on an uneven surface (again, such as a bed), the legs won’t necessarily stay in place and could start to fold in. The workaround, of course, is to pick it up and move it, but that is not possible sometimes, unless you take everting off of it first. I also wish that there was some kind of lip around the bottom and sides to help prevent things from sliding off the top. The surface of the table is smooth, and things will slide off of the top if you’re not careful when moving the table. That being said, overall, it’s a 5/5. If, however things change, I will update this review.

Exactly what I was looking for!
This tray came already assembled and ready to use. This just arrived yesterday and I really like it - exactly what I was looking for! I bought this so I could sit on my couch with my dog, while I work on my laptop. My legs and feet have been going numb for sitting at my desk or the kitchen table for too long so I have started working on my couch, which is much more comfortable, so I needed a laptop tray. I really like the size of the tray. I was worried about the height and width because some other reviewers mentioned that it was too tall or too wide so it would slip off their couch. I would have to disagree. I like the height of the tray because I can move comfortably underneath it without knocking the tray. I don't think it's too wide but I have a sectional and I sit in the corner with it so it's just the right spot. There is plenty of surface space. I really like the additional features like the tablet holder, cellphone holder, and the book stand. My only issue is the pull out tray on the left is a little small. I couldn't fit my coffee mug in it but that's not a big deal to me. The mug I was using is rather big anyways so maybe an average size coffee cup will fit. I wish the tray was also on the right side, rather than the left, because I am right handed so if I had a coffee cup sitting in it, it would feel a little strange being on that side. Overall though I am very pleased with this purchase.

Biggest table I could find. I LOVE IT!
This table is sturdy, and perfect for my a 17" Laptop that weights 8 pounds. It's also perfect for my tablet and studying or writing. I love the size, and how sturdy it is. You could even use this for basic hobbies. The drawer is a nice touch and the slots for the phone and table are very convenient. The height is perfect for me and I am short. I don't even mind that it doesn't tilt. All in all it's a wonderful little table and totally worth it. If you're in the market for a large bed table for eating, writing, reading, hobbies and even gaming, then this is a very good table.

Fantastic lap desk!
I think this table is quality! It is excellently constructed. I use the lap table for my bed, and I highly recommend it! It is steady and sturdy, and it works great as a table. There is a lot of room for my stuff on top, and for my legs under it. However, small people might find it too high. There is no way to adjust the “legs” of the table to go lower. I am tall and I love this product. It came with a movable book support which is cunningly put away in a slotted area under the table. There is a little drawer on the other side, not good for much except little stuff, like pens, and a coffee cup as they advertise. The slot on top of the table has a rubber (?) insert which protects the iPad or whatever you want to use it for that you want to sit up hands free. There is also another slot in the little drawer which also has a rubber (?) protection if you use it to stand up your cellphone, it won’t be scratched.

Massive, Gamer-Friendly, and Packed with Smart Features!
This lap desk is an absolute beast! As a gamer, I appreciate the sheer size—it offers plenty of space to fit everything comfortably, as long as you position it right. The extra width makes it perfect for gaming setups, workstations, or just having multiple devices within reach. One of the most underrated features is the slide-out storage compartments with a built-in phone holder—super handy for keeping essentials organized. If you’re looking for a sturdy, spacious, and well-designed lap desk, this is a solid choice! 💯🔥

The Cooper Mega Table Plus
It’s large enough to fit my 17-inch laptop, mouse pad, coffee mug, and glasses (so I don’t worry about stepping on them). The built-in drawer can be used as a phone stand and cup holder. The rope handle makes it easy to carry around. I can move from room to room to sit with my bunny or bring it with me for a workday at my sister’s house. The rounded corners with soft padding are also great — they help prevent scratches or bumps when walking around it. The table is very stable, and the surface isn’t too slippery, so my laptop and mouse stay in place. (I got mine in 2025, and I’m not sure if the materials have improved since earlier versions.) I agree with some other reviews: the height can feel a bit high (I’m 5'1") if you're using it on a sofa or bed, but it’s still workable. I mainly use it while sitting on the floor with my bunny, and for that purpose, it's perfect.

Good table
Good lightweight table, does as advertised, although I haven't tested slot for tablet or mobile phone. Drawer is useful for storing mouse if used. Not much wriggle room once my laptop is on the table, but no problem for me.
