That's 256 possible combinations.Not every one of those 256 combos is a word, but if you're teaching the CVCe pattern, the child probably already knows a few words. That lends flexibility I valued while teaching my child.As of 10/2/2020 there are abysmal resources for teaching long vowel sounds. I'm very thankful I found this resource.

I sent this to my son’s teacher as a classroom surprise from her wishlist. The students and the teacher loved it.

Great for learning about magic e and how it changes the sound of the first vowel in the word. Preschool kids like flipping the sections so we can say the sounds and reveal the changes. I do feel the price is more than what it should be for the product it is.

Kinda lame. The thing jerks falling over and it just doesn’t seem worth the price. I should have researched more and bought one that makes word families rather that this one

Did not purchase in this site.This has been the most helpful tool in helping my 4 yo start her reading journey. She knows the sounds of the letters, so she was able to quickly comprehend this "game" and mastered it in no time. We have additional blend flips that were a little more challenging in the beginning. She is now beginning to read some step 1 books, but she still enjoys coming back to these on a regular basis just to refresh.

Great product but not enough words. Not worth buying for classroom use.
