Read the reviews on this and about 50 other scratching posts before picking this one. Picked because of the little pedestal on top and for being taller so the cats can stretch out! Wasn't long before the 1-yr old was on top and scratching away when I put it down for them. Assembly took about 3 minutes! REALLY sturdy! Nice design! No weird smells either! Looks nice too so you can put it in a living room instead of hiding it away. Seems to be holding up really well and is a high quality scratching post! The little ball that comes on it is fun for the cats too and even comes with an extra replacement ball and a little set of tools. I was hesitant because so many other posts just fall apart or leave junk all around the floor after they scratch but this one doesn't have any of those issues at all! I recommend and the cats seem to approve!

This an excellent value for cats who like to scratch--obviously most do. We have several indoor cats and have several larger cat scratchers which they do like. This smaller and less expensive unit is great for kittens--the original reason we bought it--but also smaller cats. They last a long time but that of course depends upon the usage but it is a quality item and easy to put together plus at a great price.

This cat scratching post is the best I’ve ever gotten. First off, it’s massive. I have 2 tabby cats (so not that long) but I would say a Main Coon cat could fully extend with this. The material is tightly woven so I expect this to last longer than 6 months (the left post was the old one I had, it lasted for about 8 months). My cats love the platform on top (something not a lot of big posts have) and they have been competing for the top spot. The post does not shake or tilt when my cats use it - so definitely durable for their fat sizes. They also love the ball toy and it comes with an extra too. Overall, I highly recommend this for big time scratchers and climbers!

Tall and sturdy. My cats love it. Doesn’t fall over great quality. Shows very little sign of wear after a few months. This is a keeper and I will buy another. Cats love to perch on it too! Well worth the money.

Great cat scratching post! Cats love it! They immediately used it to stretch their backs. That seems to be their favorite thing to stretch their back out now because it is tall enough. They also perch on the top. It was a great buy!!

My kitty loves this thing! It looks great in the home and the base is wide enough that it is not very wobbly when using and sturdy when sitting on top. It is easy to clean and barely sheds as it is woven fairly well. He seems to really like the texture and has stopped scratching the couch a lot more. Even when he had his previous scratcher (much different than this) he still used the couch more than he does with this scratcher. Great price too!!

Just as pictured. So. I had bought the Amazon one looooong time ago. It has wood not fluffy on the bottom and top and honestly I think it was heavier. The difference I notice is that it does wobble a fair amount. And I don’t mean wobble just on its own. My cats like to jump from it up onto something else. They will climb it and jump off. During this jump off I notice the stand will wobble the opposite way a great deal enough I was a bit like hmm I need to secure this more. It’s located near where I workout so I have 2 sets of big 8lbs red weights and I just put it on the side towards the jump direction and it doesn’t wobble at all. It’s perfect to jump from. I think there was a string and nail to maybe keep it onto a wall? I’m not sure. The instructions were terrible.. but it’s fairly straightforward. The top screw you need to make sure the top has the “smaller side” upwards. So the longest part will screw into the top of the stand. I like the addition of the fluff vs the old. The weight obviously was better and a bit sturdier due to that. Again adding my weights to one side fixed it. It is much cheaper I think the other is about $50 and this is like $36 so that is nice. There’s an odd lip of the sisal on one side. The old wood one I have is fully box shaped, no lip. No real drawback I notice just odd. This seems nice so far. The other one I had I’ve probably had for like 5-6years now.

Qualität & Material: Der Kratzbaum wirkt robust verarbeitet – die Basis ist schwer genug, dass er auch bei kräftigem Bespringen stabil bleibt. Der Teppich‐Bezug fühlt sich angenehm an und ist weich genug für Pfoten, strapaziert aber auch nicht zu schnell. Krallenpflege & Kratzverhalten: Meine Katzen nutzen vor allem den Teppich und die Seitenflächen intensiv zum Kratzen. Das Material bietet genug Widerstand, ohne die Krallen übermäßig zu beschädigen. Es erfüllt seinen Zweck, Möbel und Teppiche zu schonen. Komfort & Nutzung: Die Höhe ist sehr praktisch: Oben kann eine Katze „überwachen“, und unten gibt es genügend Fläche zum Liegen oder Springen. Meine Katzen nutzen beide Ebenen – sowohl zum Ausruhen als auch zum Spielen. Aufbau & Handhabung: Der Kratzbaum ließ sich relativ einfach aufbauen; alle Teile waren dabei und passten gut. Wichtig finde ich, ihn gleich auf einem festen, ebenen Boden zu platzieren, damit nichts wackelt. Optik & Integration ins Zuhause: Das braune Teppichdesign ist neutral und fügt sich gut in Wohnbereiche ein, besonders wenn du warme Holztöne oder Erdtöne im Raum hast. Er fällt auf, aber nicht störend. Verbesserungsvorschläge: Einige Stellen könnten mit der Zeit stärker beansprucht sein – z. B. die Teppichfläche. Eine Option mit austauschbaren Teilen wäre toll, damit man z. B. die obere Liegefläche nach Jahren ersetzen kann. Fazit: Für Katzenbesitzer, die einen großen, stabilen Kratzbaum suchen, der sowohl zum Kratzen als auch zum Entspannen taugt, ist dieses Modell eine gute Wahl. Meine Katzen fühlen sich offensichtlich wohl damit – ich würde ihn wieder kaufen.

Parfait pour le prix, 2eme identique que j'achète pour mon siamois. Le griffoir est assez grand pour qu'il puisse s'etirer dessus en faisant ses griffes et il ne bascule pas. La durée de vie est d'une année
