Pizza Peel

The front edge is not beveled or even rounded and it can catch on the pizza shell. Mine arrived without any hardware, but I had the necessary hardware on hand to fasten the metal to the wood. Once assembled and the front edge sanded, it works well. I gave it five stars anyway.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I really like a solid peel. Haven’t had much success with the perforated models. This is a large peel. I had to cut it back to afford a better launch in my pizza oven. Very sturdy and a thick aluminum peel surface.

This is a perfect pizza peel. It’s lightweight yet sturdy enough to hold a large pizza.

Pretty nice. Good size. Only complaint is the edges had burrs that would definitely get caught on uncooked dough. Had to file them down.

I bought this to help me flip/stack my large cakes. My cakes are 3inches high and I slice them in half to stack. I had a thought and purchased this pizza peel. it worked like a CHARM!!!! no broken cakes, no extra hands needed!

This looks like a decent product, just not produced with high quality. The edges are rough as noted by previous buyers. I work with aluminum on a regular basis and have the tools to debuur and file the edges. If you don't have these tools be aware the rough edges. The packaging states foldable handle which it does not have. The description paragraph (not the listing title) states this is made with stainless steel, it is not stainless steel it is aluminum. The recessed holes for the nuts make it so you can't properly tighten the screws. The nuts are supposed to grab the wood and not spin, but they don't work very well, not sure if this will be durable over time if the handle keeps coming loose. No instructions, have to look at the pictures on the listing.

Very nicely made. Handle comes detached, but is easily attached with the 3 included screws and nut. Heavy aluminum peel with very smooth surface. Overall, a well designed peel.
