Great SDS+ Masonry Bits
SDS+ masonry bits did great. I’m restoring an old detached garage in an old-tree neighborhood in Kansas City and this 100+ year old detached one-bay garage was screaming for attention. Soon, it will be restored to better than original and maintain the ole-school architectural consistency of the home and garage in this neighborhood. Getting back to the bit review, the garage sill, i.e., the 2x4 on which the vertical studs ate attached, was no longer attached to the concrete floor(slab) of the garage. Back in the day, the carpenters used a .22 cal nail gun to to attach the sill to the slab using steel nails. Fast forward 100+ years and the steel nails were long ago rusted away. So, to keep the garage from blowing away into Kansas, I drilled 3/16” holes in between each vertical stud into the 2x4 and 5” deep into the slab below, then used 1/4” Tapcon concrete screws to secure the sill to the slab. These bits worked great, drilling through the 2+4 & concrete using a Bosch Rotary Hammer Drill. One bit drilled over 30+ holes flawlessly. Before inserting the bit into the rotary hammer drill, I applied a small amount of grease on the slots at the top of the bit. So, they did their job. 5 Stars.

Great SDS bits for even old concrete
Great bit, strong and long lasting with a cutting edge that holds well. I've had the best of luck with Bosch bits for concrete drilling, even in 50 year old concrete it holds up. Lasted longer than cheap options I tried, great value in the long run if you are doing lots of drilling.

Drills through bricks & concrete like a hot knife through butter.
Very pleased with these bits. Almost like a similar sized wood bit drilling through wood.

I bought these for more $ from the local store before. For some reason, these from Amazon are lasting much longer before wearing out. They are really great bits.
