As kitchen drainer go, this looks nice and does the job. The plate stand bit folds down if you don't need it. Drainage spout is a bonus and washes up well.

My wife is not a big fan of any sort of draining board or mat. Nor is she keen on my preference for washing things by hand rather than use the dishwasher. I worry that things that won't fit into the dishwasher or are done by hand will sooner or later damage the draining surface that is cut into our worktop next to our inset sink. Enter this draining board from Joseph Joseph which we chose because our daughter bought a set of chopping boards from the same company which she was delighted with. I must say when I fished this out of the box I was a little disappointed as it just wasn't flat. It sat rocking on the draining surface and such a thing irritates more than it should. This being said, in the few days that it has been in situ it has calmed down (and Duncurin too!) as it is now sitting perfectly and the warp or whatever it was that caused it not to sit and seat properly has gone. It is of fairly substantial construction, not too big - so it suits us, the space we have available and I guess the fact that the majority of our pots go in the machine. It does what it is supposed to do and protects the worktop surface and also the grooves that have been milled in said surface. It is easy to clean and keep clean. The grey colour is not very inspiring but I think it just about goes with the rest of the worktop. I also like the way the retaining arms pop up for plates and glasses and things so they don't slide about. Its low profile and understated appearance is more in tune with my wife's preferences. I think if it were up to me I'd select a larger more fully featured one and use it to wash more things by hand - but there we are such is the nature of compromise. All in all then, it isn't going to shoot any lights out. It quietly and unobtrusively gets on with its job and doesn't cost the earth. The fact that it flattened as the days passed has made me more disposed to it hence 4 stars not 3. Happy dishwashing.

This is great as a stand to put the washing up on as the ridges are high and will not leave you items sitting in water. if you can do a bit here and a bit there and leave to air dry you will not need to dry them after a bit of time drying on the side. The plate rack is a little unsteady but this is likely down to the weight of our dinner plates as it tries to push the arms out when you rest a plate in them, We have heavy Denby plates and after 2 stood up in this it will not hold any more and will collapse. Smaller and lighter plates and bowls are perfectly fine.

Good compact solution for granite or wooden worktops without proper draining surface. Will hold a few dinner plates bowls and cutlery. Drained water directed back into sink but a little water will remain on the drainer surface.

Bought on the 22nd of April, so I feel like I’ve had enough time to draw my conclusion. It’s simple and makes washing dishes that much easier. The water does drain off well, it’s sturdy and the plate holder bits are holding up. I know from other reviewers that some people struggle with limescale, I live in North London, so the water is hard, I do get limescale, but it’s nothing that limescale remover can’t remove (the M&S one is the best), I aim to deep clean it every week and it looks like new. You will have to experiment how best to lay glasses/mugs to dry the best, it’s just figuring out what works for you. I use it everyday and it has been great, looks like new and easy to clean. 10/10

looks like a neat design but I've had two of these and they have both broken, the plate supports are not fit for purpose and are just not engineered properly - they snap very easily, leaving you with just a flat plastic drainer pretty useless especially for the money. Additionally the drainage area and underside are not easy to clean, particularly a problem in harder water areas, makes you wonder if they ever test these products or just draw a CAD design and send it to China for manufacture - very poor for a brand that aims more up-market.

Good looking draining board but breaks far too easily! We alredy bought our second one a few months ago as a replacement in the hope that will last longer, but it broke again. Too expensive to replace every few months or so. We are going to look at other brands now. We had the whole set with cultery drainer and soap stand. So disapponting. I give it a 3-star only because it looks nice, but does not last though.

Nice item, sturdy, looks attractive, easy to store with fold down plate holders when not in use, however quite difficult to keep clean. We do have hard water so this doesnt help, but looks quite scaly and white water marks consistently so have to wipe it down and give it a good clean after a couple of uses. Otherwise nice product

After years of draining hand washed items on the counter around the edge of the sink, this Joseph Joseph drainboard is perfect! It is easy to store, the flip up rack increases its' efficiency, it has ample draining space and as a bonus. it is attractive. I am very happy with this drainboard.

Par manque de place je recherchais un petit egouttoir avec possibilités d'y mettre assiettes, couvercles etc.. Il est réglable, peu encombrant et me bac de récupération permet que la vaisselle sèche mieux.

Not as thick as you might expect it to feel though lmao It's definitely a nice drip tray- i suspect that the hinge for the plate holders may eventually wear out, but by the time it does you're probably intending to freshen your kitchen up w a new look anyways.

Material excelente. Puedes plegar los brazos y así tener un escurridor para ollas grandes. Está diseñado para almacenar trastes para 2-3 personas máximo. Los materiales son de buenisima calidad. Recomiendo limpieza mensual para evitar malos olores y acumulación de sarro.
