Beastly Basketball (Sports Illustrated Kids Graphic Novels)

My 10 yo grandson is crazy about basketball, and “just loved” the book. He went immediately to his room to read. So glad I found the book!

My son is the type to not be able to sit still but he loves these books. They aren’t “book books” as he would say. They are graphic novels/comic books. To him they are more fun to read.

The boys have been very happy with all of the sports themed novels in the SI Graphic novel series. This basketball one was especially well received.

This book had been a favorite of my son. He loves the graphics, but really loves the story. It's fun to read and one of the few books he will just look at on his own.

My kids love this book! They go back to it again and again, and it is really helping my daughter stay interested in learning to read.

My kindergartener loves these books -- the story is engaging and the text is simple enough that he wants to read them himself. It also focuses on team work and working hard, which is another bonus.

I was reading this to my 1 year old tonight and he seems really engaged with the pictures as apposed to other books. I bought these to read him because I could fathom reading another Dr. Sues book... it’s a Welcomed break in the monotony!

Great for reluctant readers!
