BOSCH GTL2 Laser Level Square, Includes Adhesive Mounting Strips

This is one of those tools that make you say, "why didn't I use one of these things years ago." It is accurate and very easy to use. I've used it both for flooring and setting picture frames on the walls and it works great for both applications. As others have mentioned, the lasers are NOT super bright. If you are in a very well lit room, you will notice how the laser fades or degrades. In darker rooms not an issue at all. I haven't tried it outdoors yet but I cannot imagine this would even work under direct sunlight. I bought it during one of the Amazon Prime sales at a much cheaper prices. Hard to beat for how useful the tool is!

Okay quilters!!! I ordered & just used the BOSCH GTL2 LASER LEVEL SQUARE, included were adhesive mounting strips. I’m a beginner quilter & I’m using it to square up my quilts. Works wonderfully for this task! I’m thrilled to have found it at a great price, it’s compact, laser level works well with accuracy & uses 3 AA batteries. Does the job exceptionally well!!!

Its quality is strong and is light weight. It’s the right size and it measures accurately.

I originally bought this Laser Square as an aid for aligning an automobile front recognition camera system, and quickly realized what a versatile tool this is. Install the batteries, turn it on, and you will see how many applications you can come up with. This is a very good, sturdy, all around laser to have, very intuitive to use, even if all you do is hanging pictures on the wall, and the price is reasonable. Besides having utilized it for some high tech applications, I have used it for hanging decorations on the wall, aligning seats & tables, and writing straight on blank paper (yes, it is that versatile). In my opinion, it is a must have item in any tool kit.

Wow. I've read the other reviews, they are insufficient. Tools are not magic instruments, If you know what you are doing and use it for which it was intended, it is terrific. The stick it on the wall removable clay is a bit of sales hype, but you really do not need that gimmick. It just makes it "easy" for the occasional DIYer. I've used it to remodel my kitchen: backsplash, cabinets, tile floor, appliances, counter tops. Everything is true to square. Trust me on this, it is very subtle to the eye, but truly square makes all the small details pop.

I love this square, and if you do any kind of renovation / home improvement work on a regular basis, you should buy it too. So far I've used it for tiling, framing, and cabinet work. The line is quite visible in all but the brightest direct sunlight. This is so much easier to use than a level, pencil marks, whatever else you've done in the past. Like any good tool, this will save you time, make your job easier, and help you do a better job. Highly recommended.

Give you perfect square. For tiling or even give you a perfect straight when hanging picture frames.

It works as advertised, but has specific uses. While it seems pretty accurate, I think that it is marginally better that a straight edge and a chalk line. The issue with using it in a vertical position, is that it is only as accurate as the bubble levels. When I used it on a wall, I lined it up with a 48" level first. I have used this to build an 8' row of supports for lumber storage. I used a straight piece of lumber first to line up the frame, and checked it with the laser square. This is a nice-to-have tool, but it will not replace a good 4' level and accurate speed square.

Using this laser square just made squaring up my quilt tops and blocks a breeze. Wish I had found it years ago. Taking it to my quilt guild meeting to show others how well it work. Saves me hours of measuring with the tape and ruler. Turn it on, line up you edges, mark or just place your ruler on the line and cut. and you are done. Fast.
