Light and Magnifier for GameBoy Color

I ordered what I thought was a light and magnifier for the GameBoy COLOR to go along the the GameBoy COLOR that I purchased for my son for his birthday. We waited a few weeks and my son was excited to receive it finally. When we opened the shipping envelope, it became clear after the first two minutes that this was NOT made for a GameBoy COLOR and NOT what was displayed in the picture as a description of the item. It is clearly made for a different game system, perhaps a GameBoy Advanced? I'm pissed about it because we live in Itlay on a military base and it's not worth the time it will take or the hassle to send it all back. I realize this is the chance you take when you purchase something online but you hope that you are getting what is advertised and that there is some due diligence involved on the sellers behalf.This is just a caution to those who make purchases from this individual. I'm not saying it was intentional but when you are selling online and mailing things to folks who could be anywhere USA or serving the military overseas, do some damn research and double check to make sure you are sending out what you advertised and NOT something else.

It darkens the screen quite a bit, and the light isn't very good. I am not satisfied with this purchase.

This product is VERY handy when its dark,or you have bad vision.It snaps onto the ridges on the top part of any gameboy color.it takes 2 AAA batteries.Once you snap it on the top part folds out and then it folds out again.to turn the light on there is a little switch on the left side of the battery compartment.the magnifying glass works really well.

I NEVER write reviews. Yet, the lack of thinking on this person's part has forced to me to do so. This person has no idea what they are selling. The title specifically said magnifier and light for gameboy COLOR. When my package arrived it was obviously for a gameboy advanced. I have read previous reviews and it seems other people have had this problem also. DO NOT buy from this person.

This item is great I love how I can see the gameboy color of my screen a lot bigger and the lights as well so I can see better while I'm playing my games on my purple grape gameboy color I am beyond happy with this purshase thanks Amazon!

This Game Boy Color light does a good job of magnifying the screen and lighting up the dark. But the thing is, the batteries run out too fast, and the light keeps getting dimmer the more the battery runs out making it useless about halfway through. The screen also smudges a little too easily. It's a good item to have for night travel, just make sure you have a fresh pair of AAA batteries.

The magnifier allows me to play not hunched over while playing, and the light makes it easier to see in darker conditions. Magnifier isn't great, but it helps. Installed on my gbc quickly.
