Great quality Fuel Pump Saves the Day!
My motorhome generator has been totally rebuilt for $4,100, but wouldn’t continue running five minutes after starting. This pump SOLVED the Problem and my Onan generator is totally reliable! What a quality inexpensive fix to a major problem!

Good replacement
The mounting holes are a little off, but still had enough room to adjust the fuel pump to make work. The generator started right up and the fuel pump is working great for now. Only about 15 minutes to install.

mOunts holes in wrong place. Probably OEM is the only one with mounts in correct spots.

You get what you pay for. Buy OEM
The fuel pump lasted for less than 10 hours. I replaced it with an official OEM Onan/Cummins fuel pump and my generator is running good again. The OEM fuel pump weighs 16 oz and the Carmocar weighs 11.5 oz. I took the Carmocar fuel pump apart for closer inspection. There is a transistor on the circuit board that should have a heat sink and does not. The transistor gets very hot and perhaps this is one reason to explain the early failure and missing 4.5 ounces.

Not exact match, but close enough to work well.
The mounting holes didn’t line up at all, but I made it work. Completely fixed our problem. Tip: If you aren’t sure that the fuel pump is bad like we were, run it till it quits, then open the carb. bowl drain screw on the bottom of the carb. and see if any gas comes out.

lasted three times using it and then failed - just out of warranty!
Installed in the OEM mount holes - the hose lined up ok and when done the gen4rator started and ran for 30 minutes under load. Tried it a week later and it started ok, ran about 1 hour - under load.4 weeks later ran for the 3rd time it ran about 20 minutes and sounded like the generator was running out of gas? then it quit and is now dead. This was a good price but didn't last. Very disapointed! It takes about 2 hours to drop the generator out of my camper and swap out teh fuel pump.
