This is fanfreakingtastic. I have a Velux window that has not been opened since it was put in 30 years ago. This summer a silly number of birds have got in and persistently knock themselves against the window, but it is about 4 meters from the ground so I feared there was no answer. Then I found this extra long window pole. I thought it was quite pricey, but when it arrived I thought it was brilliant value for money, it is long enough, strong enough and WORKS! Thanks from me and the birds.

Delighted with this item. Very strong tubing with easy to use and strong locking system. Actually quite light considering the quality of materials. Being in three sections it folds down to a good storage size for a 3m pole. Even the grip at the bottom is a good quality rubberised material. The head works well, seems sturdy and has a slightly grippy inner surface which helps. I have previously ordered a 2 piece twist lock telescopic velux pole from another company, it wasnt near the level of quality of this item. I have had bad experiences with twist locks on tools in the past, so am glad this does not use that system. Highly recommend.

Very good - I have a “light tunnel” with a window at roof height - must be 20ft up - couldn’t open it without this. However, at full extension (I had the longest version), it flexes and bends a lot, making it really hard to get enough force behind it to move the window handle. Otherwise it’s well made and does the job. I’d recommend it.

We purchased the 3 metre window pole for opening our Velux windows on our self build as they hadn't been opened for some time. The parcel arrived well packaged and quickly. We had to wait a couple of weeks for the weather to change before we could try it out and the windows were stiff to open initially so needed a good pull. The pole is well constructed and strong and easy to put together and locks together well to secure it in place. If you follow the instructions supplied and stand where suggested the pole locks onto the opening bar of the Velux easily and does not slip and is just as easy to close. The pole collapses down to the length of a broom and is easy to store away. I was concerned the c shaped hook might be flimsy but it is not and has the addition of a piece for opening and closing blinds which we hope we will be able to use in the future once we have blinds fitted. If you put the hook the wrong way round I can see that you could easily damage/break the blind hook control. The only thing I would have preferred was for the illustrative drawings supplied with the pole showing how to position the hook on the Velux bar to have been slightly bigger to see how how to position it to ensure you didn't damage the blind hook. We are also looking forward to being able to purchase additional attachments such as the dusters which were not available at the same time to reach those cobwebs high in the ceilings. I would definitely recommend this pole for its strength and versatility.

The item arrived faulty, top part was missing a screw and not glued and nearly fell down on my head but refunded me without having to send back

Konnte den Artikel heute erst ausprobieren, da wir heute erst die neuen Dachfenster bekommen haben. Es ist zuerst etwas umständlich, den korrekten Sitz des Hebels am Fenster zu finden, das liegt aber am Griff vom Fenster selbst. Hier hätte der Hersteller etwas nachdenken können. Der Artikel selbst ist sehr stabil und gut zu handhaben. Gute Verarbeitung und die Länge der Teleskopstange ist perfekt. Das Fenster ging nach einigem Probieren sehr leicht auf und zu. Wir sind glücklich über diese Lösung. Ansonsten hätten wir jedes Mal eine Leiter unter das Fenster stellen müssen zum Bedienen. Sehr schnelle Lieferung, gerne wieder.
