Simple and Clean
I recently tried the Reusable Clay Mold Making kit that requires only hot water for use. I remember this came out in japan maybe 20 or so years ago and was delighted to find it. The concept behind this mold-making kit is quite innovative. It uses hot water to shape the clay, which is a unique approach compared to traditional mold-making methods that often involve complex chemicals or materials. The process is straightforward: you immerse the mold material in hot water, mold it to your desired shape, and let it cool. The molds come out well-defined and sturdy, which is great for a variety of crafting projects. The kit offers good value for its price. Given that it’s reusable and relatively easy to use, it’s a cost-effective option for mold-making. The quality and durability of the molds make it a worthwhile investment for those who frequently engage in crafting or model-making.

Great for modeling and at a low price.
This product works great when it comes down to casting more little parts that you need for miniatures. Or anything you may need casting. I need some more magazine pouches for a squad of tactical Marines This is a great way to make more of that part at a very low price.10/10 Will recommend

Can be used with UV resin to cast clear parts!
Used this clear version to recast some small parts for mini figures. Used apoxie sculpt first with ok results which I was more than happy about since I wasn’t expect exact molds. Gotta have realistic standards and oyumaru performed great! Apoxie sculpt not so much..... Then I discovered that this clear oyumaru can allow UV light through! That allowed me to make a clear resin cast of parts which was more accurate and just needed a few minutes of UV light! This will allow me to make clear resin parts fast! Awesome sauce!

This stuff is awesome for resin epoxy!
Need to make a quick and small reusable mold of something for resin epoxy? This is what you need! All you do is boil it for a minute, and then quickly form it around whatever you want to cast. Then wait a couple minutes for it to cool off and harden and just like that you have a reusable, non-stick resin mold! Done with the mold? Boil it again and use it for somethings else, it never goes bad. I've used this stuff to make molds of necklace hearts, LEGO pieces, quarters, men's rings, and many others. You have to get it!

Probably better for smaller projects
Purchased this to make a mold of an industrial terrain piece for a wargamming model base. Any little drop of water that is left on the molding material will leave a tiny void in the mold and you'll have soft/rounded details. I feel like it would probably be better used for smaller projects rather than trying to mold a topper for an 80mm base.

Worked way better than I imagined
Works amazingly. Simple to use and great results. 1) Put in boiling water til soft and pliable 2) Let cool off 3) Peel away from object 4) Cast your mold (I used green stuff and milliput)

makes great molds
Works as advertised, I've used it to make molds of resin parts for models that I want spares of (stowage, weapons, LBE, etc) and results are great. No rocket science here, heat, press parts into soft mold, wait for mold to harden, remove parts, press in greenstuff , let dry and new parts pop out of mold easily.
